Worked well until the key broke inside it. The key metal was not very strong and would bend while tightening the locking mechanism.

The tongue coupler lock is exactly as listed. It attaches very easily and seems pretty solid. It requires the key to install or remove from the trailer as the key turns the locking screw/shaft. A simple way to help deter trailer theft at the boat launch. Getting a trailer hitch lock to add additional security.

My trailer sits outside on my lot. This means not only is it secure while towing but no one can pick it up and put it on the ball of their trailer without unlocking it first.
