Worked, but have a high spring force
Fit 2008 911 as advertised. The spring force seems much higher than the original gas springs that came with car but they do fit and function. Great value. We will see about longevity

Work great on my ‘99 996 cabrio
I have purchased other items from this company and have never had an issue. High quality stuff. These hood shocks work great so why pay more for OEM when these work and look just as good for a great price. I would highly recommend thinner right angle picks as the ones I own would not fit behind the small raised area in order to detach them. I also tried a small flathead screwdriver and ran across the same thing. Not the seller’s fault as my original ones were the same way. Online videos make it sound quick and easy but on my car this wasn’t true. Anyway. I had to improvise and about an hour later had both of mine done.

Not intended for curb side pickup...
These are high quality and pack A LOT of force. If you install these, do not allow store employees to open your trunk for curb side pickups as your trunk will most likely uppercut them with a lot of force. Installation took about 5 minutes with a screwdriver to pry open the clips on the old struts.
