I got this last year for my nephew for Christmas as a kind of novelty gift. It worked well. I put batteries in before wrapping it so it would be functional when he opened it. It got some laughs. That's about it. It's probably nice for something like an office desk where new people might be seeing it often.

I bought this for my classroom as my kids love to fidget and play with things on my desk. I bought this one as it was a nice price for my purpose. I was very impressed with the quality. Both the box itself and the electronic components are of great quality and it is well put together. My students have loved it so far.

stupidly hilarious

I purchased this as a gag gift for my wife's birthday. It arrived looking okay, well packaged and all. But after installing batteries (and yes they were fresh!), it would do nothing. I know enough electronics that I will be able to diagnose and repair it -- but I should not need to do this. And, needless to say, it did spoil the moment. Buyers should expect that they may need to tinker with it in order for it to work. And since there are choices on Amazon to get this, you might want to look at others.

I was excited to get this as a gift for someone because of how silly it is. I had read reviews saying it didn’t work but decided to try my luck. When I first got it, it didn’t work. I made sure I had put batteries in it and flipped the switch to on before using it, but it didn’t move. After forcing the arm once it started working. It’s a fun little thing although it could be cheaper.

I don't know what to do with it! It just won't stay open!
