Carpuride Air Outlet Bracket Suitable for 7", 9", 10.3" Portable Screen

Not sure why, but for some reason carpuride uses male on the mount on some units and female on the mount on others. I needed to build something they don't make, so I bought two and combined parts to create what I need. Solid components, good quality threaded collars, my unit stays solid no vibrations during normal driving. Highly recommended.

Bought this to mount a CarPlay screen on the car vent. Works great. Easy to install. Note the matching connector to the screens back. Better than a compression type mount like used for phones. Had very little dash flat space to use the mount that came with the CarPlay unit. Now have easy access to the touchscreen right next to the steering wheel without covering any of the dashboard controls.

Not a perfect fit for my truck, but works well enough

I used this to mount a Kronia 7 inch streaming screen on a 10 year old car with vertical (top to bottom) vent flaps. It holds securely and the reinforcements sit perfectly against the dash to absorb stress and prevent the vent flaps from snapping. I now can view Android auto easily on my older car. Its a new world!

Bad design it came off two times the first 5 minutes of driving. Had to put wire on the part where it clips on the vent. To keep it stationary and not worry about catching the screen falling while driving.
