I managed to pick this up at a great price, and for what I paid, the value is unbeatable. If you’re a McLaren fan or looking for a solid introduction to LEGO Technic, this set hits the sweet spot. Why it’s a great pick: The Pull-Back Motor: This isn’t just a display piece. The pull-back function is surprisingly powerful; it handles rugs and low-pile carpets much better than the "Speed Champions" cars because of those chunky off-road tyres. Striking Livery: The orange and "cyber" blue color scheme is really eye-catching. It looks modern and aggressive on the shelf. The stickers are a bit numerous, but they add that authentic Extreme E racing look. The Build Experience: At 252 pieces, it’s a quick but satisfying build (about 45–60 minutes). It’s complex enough to feel like a "Technic" set without being frustrating. It's a great way to learn how gears and pull-back mechanisms work. Durability: Unlike some of the larger, more delicate Technic models, this thing is a tank. It’s built to be crashed into skirting boards and keep going. A Minor Note: Interior Detail: Because the pull-back motor takes up a lot of the internal space, there isn't much of an "interior" or steering mechanism. This is a fantastic kit. Entertaining and fun even for adults. We (myself and child) built it slowly, over several days. At the end, the car is spring loaded and can be pulled back to accelerate forward!
