Great book for children. Little deeper understanding from the very basic children Bible. So a great step up, also it's in Russian language not Ukrainian

This was my first Bible. My dad got it for me in the 90s, shortly after the Soviet Union fell apart. It was a breath of fresh air -- no more black-and-white "children's" Bibles that had 1 image every 50 pages (and you were lucky to find those, too). The paper, the color pictures and the message was compelling. This book has more of a sentimental value to me. 20+ years after my dad bought it for me, I bought it for my 5-year-old son. The book is now a bit dated for a younger bilingual kid, the son of an immigrant, but we spend evenings reading the stories, and I feel like I'm back reading it as a child.
