I recently had a small dinner party for my 39th anniversary, and needed to go searching for my china. After several moves, I found it still in a cardboard box wrapped in packing paper and bubble wrap. Because it was in storage I never took the time to go find it and use it. I vowed to put it in better storage than just boxes and keep it close to use more regularly. I search many products and came upon this hard shell set which seemed to have the best reviews. I purchased the dish storage and the cup storage as well. I immediately started packing up my china. Although my plates seemed a tad smaller than the cases the felt separators were big enough to to cover and protect the edges of my plates. I do wish the felt pieces had been a bit cushier but these were adequate and cushier may have made it hard to fit all pieces into the case. I was concerned that the cases would not stand up under the weight of each additional case but to my surprise they did quite well. There is a bit of a trick to make sure the lids line up around the edges, if not it's possible for the lid to sink in a bit (this can be seen in the 2nd to top case in my photo). I would like as another reviewer stated a handle of sorts on the top of each case to make handling easier. I would recommend these cases to anyone wanting to preserve their fine china for a long time to come. Don't wait just for that special occasion 39 years after you received wedding china to use it. Use it all up and enjoy it.

I've purchased a number of these StorageLab dish protector sets in the past 4 years. The construction is superior, and the quilting and included felt separators are the best I've found in the business. The hard walled construction allows me to stack more than one container on my closet and cupboard shelves. I feel very confident that my best dishes are well protected from damage. They also look great! These are worth every penny.

This is the second set I purchased, since I have 24 place settings. I really appreciate the quality and sturdiness of this set- should protect my antique china from dust and keep safer than just stacked dishes. I also purchased a rectangle platter storage box and it is the same quality and fit 2 large, flat serving dishes plus a few small serving items, this probably depends on your style and size of dishes. Plenty of dividing felt and even some bubble plastic in the serving storage. I am confident this set will last and protect my china for many years.

The set is well-made with sturdy, rigid interior, and zippers that glide smoothly. They protect the dishes inside and allow multiple sets to be stacked on top of each other without fear of toppling or damage. The product label pouch on the outside proves helpful as my dishes are fully concealed and safely stored.
