G3 1860 was skeptical with 12 volt but motor performs well in big lakes decent weather matched with 200 ah lithium battery fished full week 10 hrs on spot loc and pilot mode never charged battery once very happy

Get one!
What a machine. It makes fishing so much more fun. Eliminates having to anchor. Spot lock takes the place of an anchor. Moves boat from point to point effortlessly. Terrific accessory.

Excellent trolling motor for saltwater fishing
I imported this motor to Japan and have been very impressed with its performance. The motor is quiet, powerful, and easy to operate with the Micro Remote. Spot-Lock works accurately and helps me stay on productive fishing spots even in wind and current. Although international shipping and import taxes made the total cost higher, I still believe it was worth the investment.

The delivery was excellent. I mounted this on my 2025 Boston Whaler 150 Montauk, and it works like a champ. The remote control and Minn Kota app make the motor even more valuable and convenient to use. My advice: just do it!

Love it!
Love it! We’ve named it Rosey after the Jetsons maid lol. The only complaint I have is it doesn’t work as well on spot lock if you’re under a bridge.

Big improvement over the Chinese Haswing unit
I'm so glad I sold my Haswing Chinese made trolling motor and bought this Minn Kota. The Minn Kota has 20 speeds instead of the 10 the Haswing provided, is MUCH quieter, and the micro direction changes with the remote are much finer than the Haswing. The Minn Kota also does not have that annoying beep tone with every push of the button. The Spot Lock holds my 15' Mako Pro Skiff on station, even in a 2-3 knot current with wind. I went with the 55# thrust/12 volt as I was concerned about weight and space in my little skiff and have found it to be very adequate to the task.

Length of the unit
Awesome just be aware of the length, got it for my 15’ jon boat so it takes up a bit of space and sits a bit high when I launch it into the water.
