I’m really impressed with this seat post. Installation was an absolute breeze — took just a few minutes and no complicated tools were required. The build quality feels rock solid, with a nice finish that doesn’t feel cheap in the slightest. For the price, it’s hard to beat. One thing worth mentioning (more as a heads-up than a complaint) is that there wasn’t a whole lot of room to lower the seat post for my BMX bike. It’s basically set to “high” or “extremely high,” depending on your preference. That said, this could very well be an oversight on my part, as I don’t think it’s specifically designed with BMX bikes in mind. Overall, fantastic value for the money — I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a sturdy, easy-to-install seat post.

Great product at very good pricing

I bought a couple bikes for my 3 and 4 year olds. These kids bikes give a very short range of heights that they are good for. I realized why when I tried to raise the seat for my 4 year old (she's tall). The seat posts on these kids bikes are ridiculously short. I had that seat at the very top and it was probably too dangerous to have that tall. I rolled the dice and bought this to see if it would fit her bike, it did and now she has full range for this bike and will be able to now use this bike for years to come. I went ahead and bought one for my sons bike so he can use it when he gets taller. Anyway, I think I can use these kids 16" bikes until they're tall enough for a normal bmx type or possible adult bike. I can raise the seat high enough that I can use the kids bike though I don't think these bikes are rated for 200lb guys! Anyway, this little seat post completely eliminates the need for an 18" bike.
