Rubbermaid Commercial Products Slim Jim Trash/Garbage Can with Venting Channels, 23-Gallon, Green, for Kitchen/Office/Workspace

Love this trash can! We live on a working farm and do 95% of our cooking at home. So, we make a lot of kitchen garbage. This trash can is heavier the one we had before, but oh so sturdy and space-saving and I'm betting it will not crack as the other one did. Just wish it came in cuter colors like lime green, orange, or dark turquoise.

We don't expect much out of our trash can, but this thing is totally crushing it. We wanted something slim and simple that could be used for waste from cleaning these obnoxious little poop-machines my kids have as pets. I think they are commonly known as 'bunnies.' Anyway, our normal trash can constantly had stinky bunny mess in it and was in a perpetual state of overflowing with little fecal bunny balls. I wanted a dedicated trash can that had some decent size to it that would only need to be opened when the bunny cage was being cleaned out. This thing is perfect. Great size, small footprint, easy to affix liners to, and used with the (sold separately) lid, it keeps the nasty hopping rodent smell relatively contained. Easy to pull out and sweep behind. I knew these were good products, having had them in an industrial setting previously, and it has met my high expectations for it's relatively simple task.

I was shocked at the price for kitchen garbage cans in general. Once I got over the initial shock I chose this one for its slim design, bag tighteners on each of 4 handles, and it is much larger than a standard 13 gallon can which would be much too small. It came just as described, completely satisfied. By the way, even though the can is shaped with air flow tunnels to make a full bag come out easier it was not anything different from cans I have used in the past. A full bag, maybe packed down a little does take some effort to remove, just like always. I imagine the bag would be harder to remove without those air flow tunnels.

Love this container. I use it for my recyclables. My garage is small but this is nice and narrow so it fits well against the garage wall yet still allowing my car to pull all the way into the garage. I couldn’t do that with the big round trash/recyclable pails. This container is nice and tall so it holds a lot. Really pleased with this purchase.

I wanted trash can for the kitchen that would fit between the door and cupboard. It does all that. I should have measured height. The can is taller than anticipated. Looks great. Because I wanted that shape I paid less attention to volume. 23 gal cans that are this shape are to small for the 30 gal size bags. I purchased a round 30 gal can at same time. I like it because there's a notch in the handle that lets me loop the bag around and keep it in place. This tall rectangular can has no notch. I wanted this shape and color so I won't complain. Finding the right bags for it will help

Perfect for the kids and being green they know what goes in here. Sturdy and large , very durable and easy cleaning. Once a week size for a good size family . Perfect for eco

Very study and love that it’s taller than my 18 gallon trash can but is still slim and doesn’t take up too much space! It’s a bit expensive but I would absolutely buy it again. It’s exactly what I was looking for. I have a small kitchen but I cook a lot. I did not want a big round can. This fits my needs.

Perfect size for next to my kitchen counter. Bought matching lid too. The green color matches my backsplash.
