What does “double primed” mean?

Double primed canvas has been coated twice with primer, creating a smooth, sealed surface that's ready for painting right out of the roll.

Do I need to prime it again before painting?

No, double primed canvas is fully ready to use. However, some artists may choose to add an extra coat of gesso for a specific texture or finish.

Can I cut the canvas to any size?

Yes, rolled canvas can be easily cut to your desired dimensions using scissors or a utility blade.

Can I roll it back up for storage?

Yes. Store it rolled with the primed side facing outward to avoid cracking and creasing.
