Acctim Auric Digital Alarm Clock Superbrite® Crescendo Alarm Large LCD Display Black

I bought his alarm clock to replace a previous model, of the same design, that I had owned for a very long time and in all that time I had only had to change the battery once and the clock kept perfect time. The unit itself is small enough 4" x 3" x "2 high to fit on any bedside unit, or shelf and it is really very easy to set the time and alarm timer and is totally silent. For me it is perfect, as the display is easy to read during daylight, or when the bedroom is lit, but when the room is dark the unit emits no light and so to read the time you just press the top and the time display is illuminated briefly and then goes dark again. So, if you like a dark and silent room as a sleep aid at night this is perfect for you, but if you want to clock watch on sleepless nights maybe you need to explore other units.

This is a nice size alarm which I bought to have by the bedside. On the plus side, it is clear to read, and easy to use. On the negative side, there is only one button to control alarm on/off and alarm/clock time setting, which means that you have to be rather careful about which position the button is in to make sure the alarm is set. Also, the light/snooze button is a but clunky. A soft press button would be much nicer, but I guess this is not to be expected for this price.

Clock/Alarm works well - on 2nd one as the cheap batteries I used corroded - my fault. Point is, I got the same one again! Good size and ergonomic. Love the fading out of the blue lcd ilumination when you press the light button - reason alone to buy it :)

A good reliable alarm clock. I had an old one for about 15 years before it died. Bought another as a replacement and had it about 6 months with no issues.

I had one of these clocks which lasted for years before it stopped working. I was happy to see that they are still in production. Compact. Battery operated. Nice loud alarm which becomes more insistent before finally switching itself off if you don't. Snooze function. The backlight is useful for nighttime and stays on for a few seconds after you release the button. Easy to set the time and the alarm. Great little clock!

Very disappointing as Acctim are reasonably well known and it really looked, and sounded, the part. No-nonsense display with just time and alarm indicator. Easy to set up. All seemed well first few days until the backlight refused to come on, or if it did it flickered, or sometimes it only came on if you held the snooze button down (rather than on full then gradual fade after one touch, which is what it did initially). Alarm volume was just what I needed, but the switches and snooze/light button are all very flimsy and cheap-feeling. Returned in under a week.

Good alarm clock. Reliable time keeping. The setting button can be a bit fiddly but works fine once used a few times. There is a back light on pressing the snooze button which lights display however on normal display (without backlight) can be difficult to view. Have used item for over 6 months and battery life holding up well

this is a very simple but also a very useful and intelligent clock alarm. also nice the blue light shining in the aerly morning just to advise you that time has come to wake up! also competitive price.

Es el segundo que compro. Es un despertador que lo tengo en la mesita de noche. Funciona con dos pilas de 1,5 v. Por la noche para ver la hora tienes que pulsar el botón de luz. Es simple pero funciona bien y no muy grande.

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo , spedita nei tempi previsti, ottimo imballaggio. La plastica non è male , l'illuminazione e buona e dura giusto il tempo che serve per vedere l'orario di notte, senza quindi dare molto fastidio. Unico neo e che suona ogni 5 minuti se non viene spenta, ero abituato a quella che suonava ogni 10 minuti, ma naturalmente è un problema mio

Désolée d'être aussi péremptoire, mais je suis très déçue ! En effet, je souhaitais un affichage 24h et non 12h. Le mode d'emploi est peu explicatif... Bref, le réveil a été remisé au placard dans l'attente de l'achat d'un produit plus conforme à mon attente. Bien à vous.

Was very pleasantly surprised to find this alarm clock for sale still. I had purchased one about 12 years ago at K-Mart, and after traveling all over the world with it, decided I had probably better consider looking into getting another travel alarm clock to take with me. The previous one I purchased had no brand name, model number or any other identifying marks on it to determine who made it. Took quite a bit of searching, but finally found this one. I've been very happy with my previous one, and glad to see after 12 years, someone is still making an identical (albeit black instead of silver like my original) travel alarm clock. Probably going to buy at least one more to keep when this one starts to wear out.
