I bought a used class A motorhome, the sinks were really nasty, there was no way I could live with them. I bought 2 or 3 of these and installed them, what a difference. My kitchen looked so much nicer and both of my baths ..yes I have 2 bathrooms, just looked so elevated. Thanks Amazon for having what I needed and shipping it so quickly. Good product, I would buy again.

Stainless steel contains iron, that's what makes it "steel". Stainless steel contains many other elements, like Chromium and Manganese. Many types of stainless steel are magnetic because the contain ferrite. These tend to be the cheapest form of stainless steel because they have very little Chromium - over time, they will pick up rust. This item is plenty magnetic! I would spend more money on a drain if I had any confidence the stainless steel was any better, but since most stainless steel is coming from Asia I'm not holding my breath. While they can produce excellent stainless steel, Asian firms produce megatons of crappy stainless steel. That's what's in this product. Is it stainless steel? Yep. Is it good stainless steel? Is that a trick question? This is a decent product at a cheap price - three stars for being in the middle of the road. Don't expect it to stay nice and shiny very long.

The rubber gasket is too thick, should be thinner. So it can be level with the bottom of the sink ,now the strainer basket is a little bit higher.

Just what we needed for a bar sink with limited space in the cabinet. Also works if your horizontal drain pipe is too high. I tried every local hardward store and they were all the standard depth. When I did find one it was Crazy Expensive! Thankfully found this shallow depth one on Amazon and it saved the day. Oh, and at a fraction of the hardware store price. This one is metal and not cheap plastic.

Bought this to replace the drain in the galley sink in our boat. Attracted by the "all stainless" claim. It is all stainless where most drains are stainless only with the visible parts. I haven't installed it yet but I don't see any problems doing that.

I was surprised and pleased at just how easily this unity was to install in my sink Once the damaged pieces were removed the rest was very easy. Just be sure that the seat where it fits is free of any residue.
