What are the dimensions of the shipping box?

I do not know for sure, but it was not all that big. The bed was folded very tightly in a box maybe 2 feet x 2 feet

Will my cats pop it ?

My cats, with claws, love it. Just have a thick pad over it. Keeps you comply too ;)

How cool is this for the summer compared to regular mattresses?

We turn our bed down some in the summer and use it to cool use down (we do not have air in the house). It does a nice job.

Is the foam layer tethered?

No, it is free floating. We have never had an issue with it bunching up or anything like that.
