Norelco Philips Nose Trimmer 5000 for Nose, Ears, Eyebrows & Details

Gentle, precise trimmer that still works like new after about 16 months of occasional use. I bought this in June 2025 and have used it from time to time, whenever the hair in my nose and ears starts to grow out. I chose it on purpose because I did not want a trimmer that cuts everything off. Nose hair has a role, and it grows back anyway, so I only tidy it up. Precision is very good for nose hair, and it works very well on ears and eyebrows with the attachments. Comfort is very good when holding it, and it is gentle, so it does not pull or irritate while I trim. The battery life is long, lasting a long time between uses. The package arrived complete, with all the accessories and the battery, in perfect condition. For the price, I think the value is fair. This suits anyone who wants to tidy up nose and ear hair without removing all of it. If I needed another one, I would order the same model.

I bought this 10 months ago and I have to say it's the best Nose Trimmer I have ever used! Now, I am sure there is better, but for the price it is my favorite! It is not loud and still goes strong! I have used many in the past but this time I wanted to try a battery powered one instead of a charging one. I find with the battery powered there is more consistency and steady power. Plus I bought a batter recharger which makes things easier (which I recommend) This clips very well. No pain and doesn't take long! I use it for nose and ears with no issue. It does come with an eyebrow trimmer but that I haven't used yet. Easy to clean as well. I really enjoy using this. I will be buying from Norelco again I am sure. Most of the time I am replacing these about once a year, but these one at 10 months still seems to be going strong! Replacing the battery is easy too. Just twist off the bottom and insert the AA. It really helps with my appearance, especially as I get older.

The rounded "clipper" does not work for me, the attachment with the flat comb head works great for trimming around your ears and eyebrows. There are a couple other attachments that I have no use for. Overall it is worth the money.

It works, but requires more effort than my old Norelco, which has a one-sided blade. I tried the detailed trimer to cut hair and hurt myself. Then I realized that this kit does not include the plastic attachment, that the older model has, that allow the detailed trimmer to be use as a small version of hair clippers. I'm not blown away by it, but it works mowing down nose and ear hair. I have to concentrate placing it just so, but it mostly does the job. Could be a bit less expensive in my opinion.

Top quality indeed

I’ve always bought nose hair trimmers that are half the price of this and I’ve never been impressed. Some of them have had fantastic reviews, been good brands etc, but they’ve been.. okay. My latest one was losing its mojo completely and I decided to read some recipes etc, and this one stood out and some of the reviews sounded a bit like the I’m writing now. I’ve tried a bunch before and honestly, this one is WAY better!! I didn’t have to keep going over the same area only to find it hasn’t got the hairs, I didn’t get little tiny nicks, it didn’t pull, it didn’t hurt, it just did what it’s supposed to do easily and I am delighted I spent a bit more and got a product that actually works well. I was primarily concerned with a few little stubborn hairs at the base of my nostrils that no one else likely even notices, but they bug me. I have often had to make do with the job my nose hair trimmer has done, because they don’t really fully get them. This did it easily. Then I tried some of the other attachments, and it whizzed around those irritating hairs on my ears, without me risking accidentally trimming the hair on my head. That’s actually been a pain in the past as I have longer hair, but this actually did it work much more precision and I felt confident doing it. I tidied up around my beard and realised this is a great little product and I wish I’d bought one years ago.
