My ML350 is now 11+ years old and had developed a transmission "shudder". If I was going up a hill at local town speeds (35-45mph), it would make this shuddering vibration instead of downshifting. I could almost predict where and when it would happen. The first thing I did was do a fluid and filter change. Now I love Mercedes, but they marketed the 722.9 transmission as "filled for life" which is a crock of BS. When I drained the fluid, it was BLACK. Not good. I replaced the filter and stand pipe and, using the air compressor method pumped in about 5 liters of new fluid. Because my model doesn't have a drain plug on the toque converter, you cant get it all out unless you do a rather complicated flush. I figured, I'd do this change, then do another in a few thousand miles. It seemed to be smoother after doing all this (could be my imagination), but the shudder remained. Well, that fluid change in a few thousand miles turned into 2 1/2 years (best laid plans, etc!). All this time, that annoying shudder was there. So, a few weeks ago I finally drained and replaced another 5 liters of fluid (just a little brown this time), and I added the entire tube of LiquiMoly ATF. After driving for a day or two, the shudder is completely gone and she shifts like butter! Like the day it was driven off the lot! Now I realize this is anecdotal evidence. It could have been that the second 5 liter fluid change lightened up the fluid enough that it cleaned itself out or something, but I am chalking it up to the LiquiMoly. It was too dramatic a change for just changing half the fluid. Your mileage may vary, but I am sold. It gave my transmission new life!

I usually do not write reviews, but this thing really is "magic in the bottle" and seems to have prevented a very expensive transmission replacement repair... I have a this unfortunate 6speed automatic transmission in my 2008 Volvo XC70. I bought the car used with 130k miles and the transmission was shifting hard, mostly between the 2nd and 3rd gear. After much internet searching, I decided to do replace the transmission fluid using the YouTube method of partially diluting the old fluid one gallon at a time. I also added the Lucas additive. The shifting did improve somewhat but the car would still have a hard shift from 2nd to 3rd a few times every time we drove it. Fast forward 50k miles (now at 180k miles) and the VIDA diagnostic software started noticing the hard shift and logged 4-5 error codes about shudder and hard shifting. Car was still drivable, but I thought maybe I will try to improve on things and did the same transmission fluid replacement (one gallon at a time method, about 4 gallons replaced in total) and added this LiquiMoly additive. At first the shifting was unchanged. And then after about 500 miles, the hard shifting went away. Completely. Transmission shifts as smooth as a new car... So, I can say this is amazing stuff. Seems to free up or lubricate that sticky valve in the valve body that causes the hard shift....

I have the 6 speed auto in my2015 Ford Transit Connect. It's the updated, but still weird and harsh and slow shifting transmission. I was getting really hard shifts from P to D or R to D. It would also shift so slow from 2nd to 3rd. All common issues with this transmission in focus, fusions, transit connect etc... The fluid was at an unknown mileage as I bought my van used for work. I changed the fluid and the shifting was only slightly better. So being a VW/Audi enthusiast. I heard of this company. I grabbed a bottle of this and added it to the transmission. Within 5 miles the trans was soooo much smoother. The harsh shifts into gear calmed down to almost nothing. And the lagging 2-3 and 4-5 shifts are way better. With the 4-5 being completely normal and fast now within 1 weeks use driving the van. I'm completely amazed at how well this inexpensive additive made my transmission shift and drive. Worth every penny. Update. I used this for 50k miles in my van. From 58k when I got it. To 128k when I just sold it. Trans shifted smooth and clean ever since I started using this. Used a bottle every transmission service.

Used this product with a new AT filter on 2007 Subaru Tribeca with 283K miles. Transmission became much more quiet and shifting improvements are noticeable. Acceleration got much smoother and overall feel of car is as if it dropped 15 years of age and quarter of million miles. Great product!

Realmente no me convence mucho ya que supuestamente reduce el ruido. Pero creo que ahora suena mas después de aplicar el producto. Sobre la suavidad del engranaje es muy bueno

Mi transmisión automática comenzó a fallar y no tenía en ese momento para repararla pero tenía que continuar trabajando. Mi mecánico me recomendó el producto con la advertencia que era una solución temporal. Me funcionó por 6 meses, tiempo suficiente para ahorrar el dinero antes que me deje tirado la transmisión. Cumplió su cometido

Bought for my aging BMW E84's power steering. Seems to have quietened it down a lot. Hopefully will last a year or two before the power steering pump will inevitably need changing!

I was a little skeptical but I know that liquid moly is excellent, I had a problem with my transmission, I changed the oil and added this, and Oh my god!! It's a wonderful thing, smooth shifting, noise gone and power back. On an F150.

Update: 1 year and 15000 Kms later, the power steering is still holding good, no further leaks or steering fluid level drop. Used this on my 2009 Honda Civic power steering, which had developed a minor leak and quoted at over INR 100,000 by the dealer to fix. Haven’t seen the power steering fluid level drop in the one month and 1500 odd KM after adding the Liquimoly ATF to the power steering fluid, and the power steering (pump) has become noticeably quieter with the whining noise gone away completely. Hopefully the additive helped in softening the seals enough as claimed and the leakage is stopped for good.
