It does a great job turning leaves into powder but it does get hot. It's really a product of friction so it's unavoidable but it's good information for those using it. Heating some things up can destroy it's potency. Luckily there is a sweet spot where its powder and not too hot. You can also run/cool/run as needed but that is inconvenient. Its powerful enough to powder cinnamon stick easily. Opening too soon after powered will make a mess and potentially and powerfully spicy cloud. I have learned.

Grinds tough woody and leathery mushrooms well. The carbon brushes went on me within the first month so the unit stopped working but I was able to speak with customer service and find a listing for replacement brushes, $1/brush. I have 20 replacement brushes now so I'm hopeful this unit runs for a long time. The replacement brushes can be found by typing "b08tt7l2xf" into the amazon search bar.

I bought this machine twice, the second one I bought doesn’t work after one use. It shut off by itself after I turn it on. The customer service refused me to return it due to I bought these more than 30 days(approx. two months after I purchased it). BUT this is not something that I would use everyday, how do I know it won’t work on the SECOND time?! This is really not fair, and the company needs to do a better QUANTITY CONTROL! Also, there’s 90 days free tech support offered under this product by Amazon, but when I contacted them, they just keep asking me to contact the manufacturer, with ZERO tech support they claim they would offer. Worst experience ever.
