Does it cover (lighten) dark roots in between highlights or is for covering only gray hair?

I haven't tried it for that purpose. I use it to cover gray in between hair coloring sessions. Works great on part & crown.

Does this also cover bald spots?

it covers a broad part and small areas without hair, i imagine it would therefore cover a wider area. hold the can close to area to be covered and point it at the spot
