Please define the question better and remove the e at the end of Pool as that makes it a brand name which would be a violation on the page to mention it. It can set up a moisture barrier on the skin from water if you put it on thick but it can also melt off the body if the water is too hot.

The Salve does not need to be refrigerated. The Shelf life is approximately 2 years but it is always best to enjoy the product fresh and replenish regularly.

Is this made in the US?

The lable says that it is. It is a wonderful product! I almost hate saying that because it seems every time i praise something it becomes hard to get. I shattered my leg and dislocated and broke my wrist. A friend of mine told me that comfrey would help the bones heal. This salve takes away the ache in both my leg and my wrist. It also helps my arthritic joints. I gave a jar to my mother who had her leg amprutated and was in constant discomfort and it helped her pain also. I cannot recommend a product more highly.
