Very easy to use! I love the write speeds. I use it as a place to sit all my hundreds of hours of indoor volleyball content. It's very small size makes it very convenient; pretty much a high capacity thumb drive. I ended up getting 2 of them because they're just so convenient and can hold 8TB!!!

I recently switched from my external hard drives to a couple of these SSD's and I have been thoroughly impressed. The size is extremely small for an 8TB storage. I get pretty good read and write speeds and it is so quiet of course. There is a blue indicator light thst lights up when it's being used. It's made to be rugged and taken on the go but I'm using mine for Steam game storage and backups for my photos/videos. I am using Type C cables and I sometimes get disconnects. I believe this is just an issue with my front ports when they get bumped and I have a Type C hub on order there should hopefully solve that issue. It is quite expensive but the life expectancy over a hard drive is significant and so much quieter.

Enormous SSD storage. Sure - it's a little slow, but still at least as fast as most spinning drives. Compact - stays cool even under intense use editing and moving lots of extremely large video files.

Incredibly small and fast. Fits in your pocket. Holds way more than that. Pricing vs quality is great. Very easy to use - though it may be important to note I am using with a Samsung ecosystem. Not sure if that helps overall performance but if you are using Samsung definitely work with these.

DO NOT BE FOOLED. Absolute garbage. Seriously. I've had two fail, and the two I have left are barely hanging on. They're incredibly slow the more you fill them up, and often cause finder to crash when mounted. Really really REALLY bad an overpriced. I work in post production and take good care of my drives. STEER CLEAR!

Works Great!

The EVO 5 is an excellent device. I am using it for more than a month now, with Daily cumulative backups and weekly full backup, and it is perfect. Not only that but it is small, light and looks very good. My only suggestion is to deliver it with at least a basic backup program. I had to look for an external backup because both programs in the supplier site are for “mirror” full backup, not for standard day to day one. I hope I am clear enough. All in all a beautiful and excellent product

Had to leave this review. This is the by far one of the best external hard drives (SSD) ever. I have had it a little over a year and a half and it's super portable. Hard to believe 8TB fits on such a compact device. Well worth the money if you need the portability and space. Perfect for daily use while using other larger memory for backups.

It is not the fastest backup device, but it is the most stable I have ever encountered. Speed is decent at about 200–300 Mbps. As expected, backing up files on a computer is a walk in the park. What surprised me was backing up my Samsung S23 cell phone. I selected some files totaling 31.1GB, and it took about 20 minutes to finish the job. Upon completion, I deleted 3 files and tested its restore capability. It was successfully restored without a hitch. I recommend this backup device without reservations. It is portable, versatile and user-friendly.

Awesome product!!! I am a YouTuber and I have SO MUCH DATA!!! Video files are huge and I have a bunch of external drives to hold archives, but they are the regular mechanical ones. They take time to connect, they make noise, and I'm always worried about a mechanical failure. This is the Solid State Drive and it connects FAST and is totally silent - it's wonderful! I use it now for all kinds of files I use regularly - it doesn't bother me to have it connected to my computer all the time.
