I am very pleased with this lamp, and it is a good value for the price. All the components are thick and sturdy. It was easy to assemble, but does require some hand strength, you have to squeeze prongs from the base, and from the lid and insert them into the glass shade. This lamp mostly features classic cobalt, turquoise and white color scheme, but with red, green and yellow accents. Light shines beautifully through the colorful mosaic tiles and beads. It is more of an accent or mood light, or perhaps a night light. It includes a 5 watt LED bulb. It is brighter than expected. A couple things to keep in mind: this is a fairly small lamp. The switch is midway down the cord. Even after the lamp has been turned on for several hours, it is still cool to the touch, there seems to be very little electrical waste from using this lamp as it is 5 watt and stays cool, so this is an ideal lamp to add a little light and beauty to a dark area without wasting a lot of power or putting out heat. I have only one concern about this product. Others in my home suspect this is actually a Chinese made item and not Turkish, and I think I might agree with their assessment. We already own a lot of lamps/lanterns, bakhoor burners etc that are authentically Middle Eastern and this lamp just doesn't look like the same type of materials and workmanship. I inspected all parts of the lamp, also inspected the box (which has writing only in English and Spanish). There's no country of origin anywhere (which isn't uncommon in Middle Eastern lamps...but a bit suspicious considering it came in a box). Before writing this review, I looked back at the seller description and the chart with all the item specifications. Again, no country of origin is listed. The brand name suggests Morocco, and Turkey is often referenced in the description such that the lamp is implied to have been made in Turkey. Maybe that doesn't matter, it's still a nice product, but it's probably not authentic to Turkey or Morocco. I will still give it 5 stars. It's a really great product for the price, only it's authenticity is in question.

(New review)Editing my review since speaking to the seller who fixed the issues and sent out a new lamp. This new one is absolutely stunning!! I'm so impressed that I went ahead and purchased another lamp for my new collection. I have 3 total now and even though my first lamp was not to the standard that I'm used to, it still looks beautiful and is the more obvious "human made" which makes the imperfections all the better imo. (Old review) Looks nothing like the picture. It has gray colored cement in the negative spaces where in the pictures shown, it's all colorful with zero cement showing. I also never got the "premium" light bulb, so who knows how it looks in the dark with the light on. Very disappointed! Been collecting Turkish bulb lamps since the 60's and this by far is a product if our time, lazy craftsmanship, lazy packaging, just pure laziness. NO ONE CARES ABOUT QUALITY ANYMORE. Very troubling and sad but when the robots take all of your jobs, this, along with a million other reasons, is exactly why.

This lamp is absolutely beautiful. It is very well made & easy to put together. The gripper things are kinda hard to push together for the top but I put one in the globe & pushed in the other. I inserted that & pushed it down & it worked. It is a perfect size (exactly what is stated in the dimensions) & puts out just the right amount of light. I like that it has an electrical cord & not a USB. I will use this for years & am thinking of buying another in a different color & I think it will make a good gift. Highly recommend.

I ordered the yellow or gold lamp and I think it's one of the prettiest lamps I've ever bought or seen. I put a night light in it because others mentioned the lamp gets hot. I love the soft glow at night and never turn it off as it's just as pretty in the daytime. The lamp is well-made and heavy. You will not be disappointed. I plan on buying another one or two!
