terrible, sour and tasteless

GREAT FLAVOR

I'll start off by saying I love milk tea and boba so I am very familiar with the flavors so when I saw this Monin Black Sugar syrup, I was really excited to be able to replicate some of my tea-house favorites at home. Unfortunately, this syrup just tastes like extra sweet molasses because that's exactly what it is! The main ingredients are sugar and molasses so that's on me, but I somehow thought "natural flavors" might mean that signature flavor you get in black sugar milk tea. If heavy molasses flavor with extra sweetness and a fat price tag is what you're looking for, then this syrup is for you. If you're looking for that classic milk tea flavor, this one sadly isn't it.

Perfect for pancakes, oatmeal & boba tea, and is not too sweet.

The sugar separated and it was rancid very disappointed it tasted sour and foul smell

It tastes like molasses. Not really good for coffee. Very thick
