So so so worth it. I knew I wanted and needed this once our baby reached about 3 months old and could only get quality sleep in a blackout room, she is 8months old now. Her bedroom/nursery set up is suuuuper dark so I knew for traveling I needed some kind of sleep pod. I read all the reviews of people who purchased the Sleep Pod and this Hiccapop tent, honestly I couldn’t see a real difference in practice and quality so I went with Hiccapop because of the better price/deal. OMG as a first time mom I am BEYOND pleased with the hiccapop tent. Here are all the aspects of this tent that have made it a 10/10 for me: - SUPER quick assembly (my husband and I assembled it in literally 5 minutes in a cramped airbnb room) - quiet zippers and quiet fabric so there was zero disturbance after baby was asleep. and my baby is SUPER sensitive to noise, she stirs when my knees and ankles pop lol😂 - fits perfect over our standard pack n play - i love all the windows and pockets it has for a fan if you wanted and i LOVE the pocket at the top of the tent for a baby cam. the material of the mesh that holds the cam lets the infrared light see and it has a little velcro strap to keep the camera in place. - the material of the tent itself is really nice quality. it muffles noises which also adds to better sleep for our baby. it’s soft, stretchy, breathable but also keeps a little bit of heat in for baby to be cozy, which our baby loves. - super light and easy portability. i also purchased the hiccapop mattress pad for our pack play, and the tent and poles (when disassembled) fit in the mattress bag, with the mattress I swear this is not promoted im just a first time mom with a really satisfying product experience. The design of the tent was really well thought out. Like literally the only “cons” i could think of is the opening of the tent is a little awkward to get used to if you have to transfer a sleeping baby (i do everytime lol) and it has a little “new” smell the first time i used it, not a bad smell but just the fresh out of the box scent. Our baby isn’t sensitive to smells thankfully but i could see maybe another baby being sensitive to that. Highly recommend for travel if you have a baby that needs black out for sleep.

Overall, highly recommend. Perfect solution for vacations/room sharing. Provides blackout so you don’t have to worry about curtains, lights, etc. Super easy to set up. Super lightweight. Love that it has pockets for a camera and sound machine or fan. My baby never felt hot or sweaty when I would take him out. Very much worth the money. A couple things to note: the window/opening to put your baby through is not very high above the sides of the pack and play so you have to figure out a way to place your baby inside without waking them up and without hitting your head on the tent. Kinda annoying. Also the zipper could be a little quieter in my opinion. Positives outweigh the negatives and I will be recommending this to every parent I know!

100% recommend this over Slumberpod. We got a Slumberpod years ago for our first and absolutely loved it. Such a game changer. When we had twins, we knew we'd need another one for travel. We decided to try the Hiccapop which was more affordable. Let me tell you why I love the Hiccapop more: 1. Easier setup. Maybe Slumberpod has updated their design, but compared to the 2021 model, this is so much better. No sleeve to slide the poles through on top, just clips. No pockets to put the end of the poles in, more clips! It makes such a difference. 2. Travel bag is better with a zipper. It fits so easily and you don't have to shove it in. 3. The best part, they have a solid warranty. Our slumberpod had an issue and their warranty was only like 90 days and no warranty if you buy from anywhere but their website. Our Hiccapop's zipper broke like 5 months after purchase and they replaced it so easily. No hoops to jump through.

I received a broken tent (sold as mint condition by Amazon) with a personal item left by the previous customer in the carrier bag. It was for a month long international trip and I missed the return window (becauase I didn't want to pay for the internationl shipping for the broken tent back to Amazon warehouse). When I reached out to the Hiccapop website customer service after the return window closed, they kindly offered to send me a brand new unit even though it was not their fault. This is our second hiccapop tent - we have a slumberpod and a hiccapop tent, but we like the hiccapop enough that we decided to buy another hiccapop for the international trip because how easy the assembly is compared to slumberpod.
