I used to purchase a salve just like this from a shop that the owner made all her items by hand in small batches. I knew this was the dupe! I used it for bug bites on my legs that no matter what, leave scars and red marks that won't heal on my very fair skin- mosquito and flea bites are the worst! Anything that itches and I itch until it breaks open, I'm going to have a red splotch for just weeks and weeks. I have been using this at night. I have already seen a 50% improvement in less than a week. I have had the bite scars and marks for 2 months. The salve has an aroma that I find pleasant, some may find a bit more earthy or medicinal. I do not find that ot lasts long. So if you like or dislike the smell, you're not going to have it last long regardless.

This super little product is a great combo of good herbal ingredients designed to he lp the skin - I've used it on a number of "issues" and its helps all of them, including a nasty little case of actinic keratosis which has been subdued beautifully - and without any repercussions as I would have received from the burning, ski-changing medication from the doc. This product is AWESOME! I keep this salve on hand all the time . Over the last 10 years, I've used it for every sort of blemish on my skin. I use it for rashes, brown age spots, insect bites, everything. BUT as mentioned on the jar, "not for use on open or weeping wounds." (I doubt my Dermatologist would believe it even conquered my keratosis!) Having said that, this product should not be used instead of seeing a doctor if you don't see improvement in 2 days, at the most. VERY nice to receive a product from Tucson, Arizona instead of imported. I used this on a really large and ugly keloid scar (at the base of my neck) with complete success in just a few weeks. I suggest ordering the 2 oz size instead of 1oz...simply for convenience and it lasts a really long time. You'll be glad you did!

This really works, I've just finished the first one I bought for myself and most of my scars are faded or essentially gone. It does take time to work but it lasts months despite using it almost every day.
