## Description

Each bag contains (15) pennant-shaped baits 1.5” L x .5” W (at the base). Fishbites Fish’n Strips use our “Longer Lasting” formula gel that incorporates a mesh in the middle which keeps the bait on the hook cast-after-cast and fish-after-fish. Fishbites Fish’n Strips are ideally suited for use with 2/0 and 3/0 hooks. While they can be fished in almost any water temperature, the gel is formatted for greater durability in water temperatures at or above 70F/21C. Fishbites is made with pride in St. Augustine, FL USA.

Review: When fishing the Texas coast (Port Aransas) this is the only non-natural bait I use. This specific fish bites product is like crack to the fish in the surf. If they are there and biting, this stuff will work. As I’m sure most people looking at this know, it has a fabric mesh inside the strips that hold the bait to a hook. This works extremely well, and the bait only “falls off” once the water or fish eventually wear it away, which tends to take a while. The only trick here is getting it off your hook when you are done with a strip. I carry small scissors or a knife to cut the mesh away from the hook because even when the bait is all gone, that mesh holds on for dear life. If you are fishing for whiting, pompano, or other similarly sized fish, I would recommend cutting a piece about a half inch to an inch long (bigger is not necessarily better as the fish will simply eat the parts not directly hooked) For larger fish like redfish, we use slightly larger strips and often pair with a live bait like ghost shrimp. That being said, they will frequently take a hook with only fish bites. I have caught whiting, lady fish, pompano, black drum, red drum, snook, croaker, stingray, shark, and others on this bait.

Product arrived hard as a rock had very little pink coloring left was expired and that was the shrimp flavored also bought the squid flavored and you can see by the photos it was already starting to dry out
