Very surprised. Well worth it.
So I thought I was just buying another cheap Chinese torch. I was right, but my expectations were over exceeded. This thing is absolutely brilliant. It’s a heavy item, but very well made. Very sturdy and have dropped mine no end of times on the path. It still works and it’s still in decent nick. The battery lasts me at least two weeks before needing to charge, I use it to walk the dog every day and it’s on for at least an hour a day. It’s bloody bright too. I wasn’t expecting much at this price range but I was extremely impressed with its brightness and being a cool white too. It doesn’t get hot and remains cool to touch. I would highly recommend this torch. Lasts forever, usb charging, durable and waterproof, extremely bright with the zoom function an added bonus to see further away. I’ve now bought one of the newer models and will keep this one for dog walking.

Great all-rounder
Very sturdy and well made. It hasn’t been submerged but handles rain perfectly well. Reverting back to its last mode when switched back on is useful and the battery indicator is very clear - meaning you can avoid completely discharging the battery before recharging it. This is done via a USB-C charging port and it comes with a charging cable (if you don’t have one already). The ability to convert the battery chamber to accept standard AAA batteries is also useful if you’re unable to recharge it for whatever reason and it is easy to replace the rechargeable one when it’s at the end of its life too. It comes in a sturdy case filled with spiked foam, meaning it doesn’t roll around noisily smashing things to pieces in the back of your car. Would definitely recommend as being a good quality, relatively powerful torch at a very fair price.

Sturdy & bright
Nice torch, sturdy and very bright. It emits a fair bit of heat from the bulb so that gives you an idea how powerful it is but probably not as advertised. Came with extra AAA batteries and adapter and extra o ring seals as well as a nice hardcase for transport.

Brilliant Torch 🔦
I bought this torch in January last year and it’s been brilliant! The build, weight and beam of this light is absolutely phenomenal it’s perfect for my hikes, and early rides, and battery life when 100% charged last a great amount of time. Great size, and gives amazing beam visibility! Unfortunately I can only give it 4 stars due to the fact that after only 11 charges (I’ve only ever charged it when battery is below 15%) on the rechargeable battery it has completely died and no longer charges 😩

Great value
Update July 25 : the light is still working fine after 15 months. I charged it in spring of 2025 and have hardly used it since due to the longer days. It still shows 4 bars of power and this particular torch is still one of my favourite lights from my little collection. My original review from April 2024 was as follows: The fitted battery is stated as a 26650 5000mah rechargeable and has given me good run times. There is a sliding zoom function that allows one handed change from flood to throw so there are good light focus options. So far I have used the light continuously on high for about 2 to 2.5 hours then recharged it when it still had juice left in the tank from two blue lights. It took 3 hours to get back to the same voltage. My only concern is that the fourth blue light was still flashing even after an hour from the fourth stage being reached. The manual implies it should be a solid blue one once fully charged. Maybe I did not charge it enough for this to happen but I'm wary of overcharging relatively cheap lights and batteries that may or may not have overcharge protection. The kit also includes an adapter for a 18650 rechargeable and a 3xAAA alkaline option with batteries. All types worked when I tested them. I charged a 18650 battery in the flash light body and it seemed to charge up OK and on full lasted for 75 minutes, though I have no means of testing if the assumed 3000mah power output of the battery I used is accurate.. The AAA was a nice surprise as I did not expect much from this type of power source. From budget batteries I managed about ten minutes on what appeared to be an equivalent power output to Medium power on rechargeable batteries but then it ramped down rapidly and after an hour and a half I was left with a 40/50 lumen like brightness that still proved reasonably effective at a push. Maybe Duracell would give a better return? The 26650 cell gave a good 5 minutes of full power brightness before ramping down to about half that but switching off/on brings the brightness back for a couple more minutes. Most LED lamps ramp down after a period of time so this was expected. A lanyard and basic cloth holster was also included in the carry case provided but there is no metal belt clip for what is a fairly heavy light with the supplied 26650 battery, though it is lighter with the other options. Build quality is very good for the price. As far as brightness is concerned around 1000 lumens on full flood( give or take 20%) is what I got from my primitive test equipment but this is still very good for a light in this price range as it is fairly bright for this lumen measure. The throw on full zoom also compares favourably in brightness to the zoom on my Nebo Slide King rated at double the lumens. The light gets hot in high with the 26650 but after a while seems to cool. Is this the work of the intelligent control chip that is advertised? The manual says” avoid drops impact extrusions” ( whatever that means) . Do I take it to mean it is not a robust product, despite there being a picture of it being run over by a car? A rubber O ring is found between the battery compartment screw thread and it claims to be IP67 rated so should have some good waterproofing qualities. I got mine on special offer at £16.64 when the RRP was £24 so I feel this is a really good buy, especially for the long battery life I have seen so far and the versatility of power sources plus the rest of the provided package. Had the light been smaller it would be toward the top of my every day carry list but it is still one of my current favourites around the house, even above lights costing three or more times the price. Is it worth more than £16.64? I would say yes but advise waiting to see if the price comes down again if you are not in a hurry.

This company brand has upped thier game. I can't say it's 500000 Lumens, but I can say it's super bright and otherwise as advertised. I Love: The battery lights. That it turns on the last mode. That the USB-C port can be sealed nicely. That it has the backup batteries option. That the aluminum case dissipates heat. That it has the glass breaker around the lens. That it can be further waterproofed with the O-ring seals. The belt holder. And especially the commercial rechargable battery that can be replaced, keeping the torch. Definitely grab one up.

¡Claro, Piticlin!

The LED Flashlight Rechargeable, Blukar Super Bright Flashlight with 5 Modes - Adjustable Focus & IPX6 Waterproof, Long Lasting Handheld Torch for Power Cuts, Camping, Outdoor, Emergency - Orange is strong, robust and durable. Its metal construction is excellent and its build quality is outstanding, as is normal with Blukar. The battery capacity measured OVER 5000mAh (see photo), impressive!! The included USB-A to C cable worked to charge the light. Running on high, the light only got slightly warm, no issues with heat. It ran for over 9hrs on high before the battery ran out, albeit at diminished light intensity toward the end. It comes with a nice durable case (although I'm not sure about durability on the locking tabs). It also comes with a belt holster for the light (see photo). It works and can hold the light but it is a bit cumbersome putting the light into it, takes two hands to stretch the holster open, but it does work and it's a nice bonus. The light can also run on 3 x AAA batteries (included) using the included adapter and sleeve. The light is very dim even on high when using AAA's but in the event of an emergency, if all you have are disposable batteries, at least you will have some light. Just don't expect a long runtime. I did test to see what would happen if the light is plugged into USB to charge with the AAA batteries installed, would not be good if it tried to charge them, which it did not, no power was drawn from the USB and no issues using AAA batteries. Using the included sleeve, you can also use a 18650 Li-ion battery, very nice option as the 18650's are much more ubiquitous than the included 26650. Lots of options for after the included battery inevitable dies. The light can keep going strong! The four dot battery level indicator is very nice and works well. Each dot is pretty well isolated from its neighbour and there's no bleed through, you can distinctly tell if the LED is on or off. It has five modes, High, Med, Low, Strobe, SOS. All very useful, all relatively good brightness. I will say that this is not winning awards for the brightest flashlight out there, but still pretty bright. I prefer it this way as the light is still very useful but will run cooler and longer. The zoom function works well and the tactical head could be useful for self defense or glass breaking etc. (I did not try it for either though) There's a rubber cover on the USB port and an O-ring on the battery compartment thread, so a reasonable amount of effort went into weather / water proofing / resisting. Another fantastic, good value for the money (~$36 at the time of this review) product from Blukar! Highly recommend!

The Blukar rechargeable flashlight is a good bright light with even coverage across its illuminated area. It comes with an installed 26650 Lion battery and provides options to allow you to use and recharge a user supplied Lion 18650 battery or to use 3xAAA alkaline batteries (supplied) with a supplied battery holder. It provides a storage case, a short Type-C USB cable for charging, a belt holder for use, 3xAAA alkaline batteries and battery holder and a battery sleeve to align the AAA holder or a 18650 battery. The storage case does not have a rubber/silicone seal and so might not be waterproof. It does not supply the charger. The supplied 26650 and an 18650 both demonstrated better light than the AAA cells (I used new Duracells) with the higher current capacity of the Lion batteries. So you would keep the AAA in reserve and not normally use them. Charging through the supplied USB A to C cable worked well though a 2 amp charger seemed to take a long time to stop flashing the 100% charge light. With a fully charged 26650 cell, unplugging the charger and re-plugging it indicated charging at about 3/4 of an amp for over an hour. So your flashlight is probably adequately charged if the 100% light is flashing. Illumination was even and bright across the lighted area with no hot-spots, even focusing down to a tight beam. It would be more than adequate for most purposes. There seems to be no information in the supplied documentation or the product description to indicate the light output (in Lumens) making it hard to compare expectations with other flashlights that do state a brightness. In prolonged high brightness use the entire flashlight body warms and can be somewhat hot, though not painful. As noted - do not look at the illuminated LED at close range, it will leave you with spots for minutes and is not good for the eyes Pros - good light with three power levels, flash and SOS capability - Lots of powering options available - supplied 26650 battery - supplied battery sleeve for user's 18650 battery - supplied AAA batteries and AAA battery holder - supplied carrying case, belt holder and charge cable - reasonable instructions in many languages - reasonable user interface - pressing the button rapidly selects modes and brightness. After 8 seconds a button press turns it turns off Cons - Don't know if the case is waterproof without a rubber seal - No information as to Lumen output - Long time doing the charging top-off. Probably usable anytime charging is flashing the upper light - User manual - Only buried in item 12 of the Warning's does it mention that the AAA cells should be replaced and cannot be charged. It should state in the Charging section that the AAA cells should NEVER be recharged I would recommend the flashlight, a reasonable product with lots of power and use/storage options for a reasonable price.
