Color me impressed!
I found this a bit fiddly to set up. The miter bar comes with delrin or similar plastic washers to adjust the fit to the slot and my saw has a stamped deck which seems to have a tight spot in the middle. It took an hour or so to get the bar running smoothly. I finally resorted to filing the last washer (under the protractor), but it works well now. Similarly, getting the protractor aligned was a test of an old man's patience. Once set up was finished, I tested the gauge by cutting segmented circles. It worked perfectly at 22.5°, 30° and 45°. It may be that the more expensive versions of this tool are better calibrated at the factory or easier to set up, but I can recommend this tool very highly for patient woodworkers.

Great device
I’m always using this now. I can set it and cut all my boards the same length. It also is great for cutting 45’s. Adjust the degrees setting and the length setting and it’s ready to cut. Great Product

Miter is good with a caveat
Just tried out the miter gage. Looks like it will work well for me. However, the "rubber" cushions in the gage make it much too tight in the slot. Maybe they are for a larger slot but taking the cushions out was difficult. I used a knife, a tiny flat screw driver and a needle nose plyers. The most difficult one to remove was the one closest to the fence which I removed Once "rubber" cushions were removed the miter works very well. I found the miter gage to be square. I checked it both against the blade with a square and out of the slot. Both ways it was square for me. In addition, the package includes two set screws. Looking at the miter gage from the back there are two threaded holes for the set screws. If the miter gage is not square use the set screws to adjust the fence and make it square. I have seen minimalist instructions but this takes the cake, no instructions. Watch the advertisement video to see how to put it together. But I did it without the video. My complaint about this miter is having to take out those rubber cushions. I even jammed and scraped my finger in the process. They were hard to remove and there are no instructions on how to do so. I do recommend this miter. I think it will work well for me.

Design Flaws - Not Square - Not recommended
The Good: Nicely anodized. Most parts are good quality. It comes with two of the hex wrench sizes you need. The Bad: You get bags full of parts but no instructions, though not hard to figure out if you have experience with this type of device. There are 3 larger, silver colored setscrews but nowhere I could find that they would be used. The item comes with two hex wrenches to adjust the fit in the miter slot, but no hex wrench for the screws that attach the miter gauge to the fence. The miter slot fit adjustment is a bad design. Even all the way loose, they're too tight in the slot. The T-slot washer at the tip of the bar fits too tight in my miter slot, so I removed it. Also had to remove the fit adjusters (there are four, one is hidden under the indexer). The final coup-de-grace was when I checked it for square with a machinist square and found that the miter gauge is not dead square to the slot bar when the indexing "pin" is in the 0 slot. Sorry I didn't take pictures, but I wanted to bag it right up and send it back. Some people might find this adequate for the price after removing the t-slot washer and the fit adjusters. I need something better, that works without a lot of fiddling, and is square. One star because it's not dead square when indexed to 0. A miter gauge needs to at least do that one thing right.

Will not fit most “budget” saws
The miter gauge is great quality, very nicely built, but it does not fit the Ryobi saw I intended to use it on. Measure your T-track, if it’s 17mm (11/16) you are out of luck. The gauge measures at 19mm (3/4”) with some adjustability, but not nearly enough to fit my saw. Overall, I’d probably just go buy the Bauer gauge from Harbor Freight since it’s the same price and offers a spring loaded lock and detents.
