Great beginner guitar but could use some improvements
I bought this guitar as a gift for my girlfriend as she wanted to learn guitar after watching me play for so many years. I got her this guitar because it is probably the best made guitar that you can get in this price range that is beginner friendly i.e. not spending too little to where you get something that never stays in tune and sounds horrible and not spending too much for something that they may only play for a few months and later becomes a decoration. Overall this guitar stays in tune surprisingly well, has great sound and the strings it came with were okay but I ended up replacing them with better ones. The tuners are really stiff and if you do play often I recommend changing them out to something a bit better.

Unbelievably great guitar for the money!
I love everything about this guitar. Great sound, great playability, great craftsmanship, no flaws at all.! I used to collect Vintage Martin’s and Gibsons so I’m pretty picky about acoustic guitars. I still don’t know how they can possibly sell this guitar so cheaply.. don’t be scared off because it’s laminated. It really sounds terrific. I honestly don’t know how they do it but I’m glad to have it!

Great guitar! Action is a bit high so you may want to get your strings adjusted.
Bought this as my first guitar in December 2023 and I've been playing it regularly since then. Note that I'm a complete beginner, so I can't comment on whether this is a good guitar, but it plays very well and sounds great IMO. The only thing is that the strings are a bit high, so barring chords is difficult. I'd recommend getting your action adjusted at a local shop.

Could have been 5 stars!
Overall, the guitar is great. It sounds exceptional for the price, and is the "sound" I was after. The Fender strings sound good, the frets were clean (no sharp fret-ends), and the action is perfect. However, I am a bit disappointed with Fender: I was expecting a thinner neck, the upgraded machine heads, and the "Backed by Fender" logo on the back of the neck, as shown here on Amazon, and on Fender's serial number lookup. Instead, I got the older style tuners common on the FA models. While the neck isn't as thin as I'd like, it's still very comfortable, and easy to play, and the tuners work fine. My guitar arrived in excellent condition, and delivery was much faster than expected. I would have given Fender five stars for this guitar, if it just hadn't been for those details that were important to me. I'll be keeping my purchase, however, as I am quite pleased with the guitar itself.

Very good guitar
It sounds amazing plus it’s a good brand it plays just fine u just might need to adjust the tension and oil the fret board but that’s really it it sounds really good I mean better than my $200 dollar Yamaha from guitar center I definitely recommend for anyone especially beginners it’s probably my favorite guitar I own really good product would buy again

Comes w a gig bag, strap, tuner, strings and picks. Deffo worth the price!
I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box that this guitar comes with an electronic tuner (the Fender FCT-2 Tuner), a strap, a gig bag, extra strings, an instructional DVD and some picks, in addition to the guitar!! This was listed nowhere in the description but I was super happy to receive these extra items. The bag doesn't have much cushion but it's great for carrying around. As far as the guitar, it seems well-constructed and it is absolutely beautiful to look at. So shinyyyy. And the strings were already practically in tune! With Some minor adjustments, it was ready to play right away.

Inexpensive entry into the world of acustic guitar
The Fender Squier acoustic tuned nicely [with the fender tuning app and others] It is full sized and I would recommend it. It's easy for a beginner adult [me] to place my fingers correctly on the strings. I have a smaller guitar [F.A.] and it's actually harder to play than the Fender because my fingers are always on the wrong spot.

Arrived in bad condition but it's OK for the price
First of all. I'm a professional musician. I needed this just to do some jotting of songs on, on the move. Being a professional I know what a beginner needs to be confident. First of all, tuning it was a task... Purely because of the tuning pegs, they're so stiff, even I was nervous of busting the strings. This isn't good for a beginner because I remember the fear of snapping strings when I was learning was real...but it's OK they will loosen, just make sure you use a good tuner and do some manual self tuning too (plus it's good to learn to tune by ear manually) Second of all. Look at the state of it! It has some kind of white paint on the fret board in numerous places and the frets are actually eroded and cracked, they've been really rudely put together but the frets still play fine, for how long I don't know, but for now it does the job at a basic level and it doesn't sound terrible and so far it hasn't dropped out of tune. Personally I prefer the Fender dreadnought, not the squire, if you got the extra cash go for the upgraded Fender version of this, otherwise yeah it's fine for learning or like me on the road 'need a guitar quick' kinda thing

My first guitar and I must say I am impressed. Perfect for acoustic beginners and has great sound quality. It's worth every penny. Just buy it but make sure after taking it to check for the 7 important checkpoints to affirm that this guitar quality is genuine.
