My go to for years now...
This has been my go to for years. Honestly, I wear it at night sometimes when I want to have a healthy glow. Hey, I'm 35 and have to deal with daily "WHAAAT, YOU CAN'T BE 35?!" from people, so I must be doing something right? I have sensitive skin- Not acne prone per se, but my skin WILL break out or get irritated easily if it doesn't like a product. I like 'clean' beauty products. Products with not that many ingredients. Products that don't clog the pores or irritate sensitive skin. Products that have simpler ingredients, more natural forms, and fragrance free. After much research, I found this product, and never looked back. It's fragrance free. The complaints from people about the smell are simply the result of zinc oxide and other such ingredients- it's impossible to avoid a smell and to me it just smells a bit like chalk. The product sinks in to the skin well, which is important for zinc oxide- Yes the white sheen will be there for a few minutes but it will sink in with time. It adds some nice moisture to the skin. It provides a nice little glow (most likely due to the reflective zinc), it doesn't break me out, and so on. It feels like it's nice and easy on the skin whilst slightly nourishing the skin, and providing spf protection. The only annoying thing is that the cap never stays on which is annoying for a traveler like myself... It always falls off, breaks, gets lost, etc. I like the design aesthetically but they could really work on the functionality of it.

Amazing!
GIRL.. let me tell you I’ve tried so many sunscreens. Many Korean sunscreens.. many drugstore ones.. popular, expensive ones like EltaMD. Some of them were OK but none were ever perfect. Usually, they leave me oily enough to fry an egg, or dry as the Sahara desert, or the sunscreen pills and I look like a snake shedding its skin. Worse, some make me look like a deathly ill Victorian child with the forsaken white cast. Or occasionally just for the fun of it they burn my eyes so bad, it’s as if I poured straight acid into my eyeballs. So let me tell you, when I tried this sunscreen, (after trying to find EltaMD dupes because that’s only sunscreen that was relatively okay, but WAY too expensive), I wasn’t expecting much. I was prepared for the worse. I’ve tried many 5 star sunscreens and they still sucked. But this one finally stopped my search. It’s great! It does its job. It doesn’t smell bad. It doesn’t burn my eyes. It feels nice and light on the skin and my skin doesn’t look like it has sunscreen on it, and doesn’t feel like it does either. It goes seamlessly over moisturizer and under makeup. I use sunscreen daily and this lasted me a few months, which is surprising because most sunscreens I buy only last me around a month because they give you such a small amount. All in all, it works! It’s simple! So simple it’s almost boring. I love it

My favorite sunscreen
I love this sunscreen. I’ve tried many many brands including the popular Korean brands and they all break me out or make my eyes burn. This one never breaks me out and it controls oil well too. It’s by go to sunscreen

Good product, poor container.
The product is great. The packaging is not great. Unable to tell when the container is empty. Tried to put it on in morning, no sunscreen.

The Best
I am a skincare nerd with very sensitive skin. I have tried all the famous low and high cost SPFs touted by derms, magazines, celebs etc but this beats them all. Vitamin B (niacinimide) is one of my favorite skincare ingredients as it is antiaging, antiacne and calms redness down - I have rosacea so Vitamin B is an important part of routine. I do use Suntegrity when I'm going to be out in the sun all day but it is just too thick and rich for everyday use. The DRMTLGY one has a lovely texture in between a serum and a light moisturizer which is fantastic as I already put on an essence, a serum and then a moisturizer mixed with some face oil - I need something lightweight that doesn't feel gross if I need to reapply it because I'm outside for a little longer than usual. However on days when I'm going with a simpler routine this is still very moisturizing, just in a non greasy way. Thank you hyaluronic acid and vitamin E. It also spreads really easily over your skin so you don't have to work it in like most SPFs and it absorbs quickly. Due to the Zinc it also protects against blue light from your phone, computer etc and I also love that it is a 45 - many daily spfs that are lightweght are much lower. I would give it a ten out of ten if it was organic - I prefer organic products but this one is so good I have to use it!

ouch!
I thought this was such a highly rated sunscreen by the likes of Angie Hot & Flashy and this other youtuber who swear by it but can't recall her name. And so I bought, trusting their opinions. I guess they have eyes that are like reptiles because my eyes had been red and burning for weeks and I couldn't figure out why - I was trying to narrow it down to sleep, water, nutrition, supplements, black vs. white lash glue, shadow primer clear vs. shadow primer nude? I fixed it all - started drinking 2 1/2 liters of water a day, pinned down my nutrition to hit every vitamin without supplementation, changed from black lash glue to white, changed shadow primers and got enough sleep but yet still - my burning eyes persisted. Then I'd notice that when I wasn't moving around and just sitting, they seemed to hurt even more. That's when I realized, there are some kind of fumes I think coming off my face - then I thought - well I don't put anything new on to cause this - EXCEPT - THIS STUFF. I also wasn't putting it near my eyes anymore so than I do other sunscreens that never burn but still, I never put any sunscreen on so close that it would get in my eyes anyway, but sure enough, I stopped using this today and NO eye burning whatsoever. I guess I should have realized that Angie Hot and Flashy is only saying this is good because she provides a discount code for it - and so is getting a kick back obviously OR has the eyes of a reptile. DUPED AGAIN.

Non-greasy but a bit oily when first applied
A good mineral spf. I like that it’s quite absorbent and doesn’t leave whitecast. However, it does have a “chemical” smell when you first apply it. And it feels a bit oily on my face.

Clear formula, versatile and excellent protection.
Having had a couple of bouts of skin cancer on my face, I’m a diligent sunscreen user. I’ve tried so many over the years and find that physical sunscreens are less irritating. Second best are combination formulas, which extend the kind of protection that you’re getting. Least desirable, for me, are chemical sunscreens, which often irritate my face and hand skin. Neutrogena formulas, available in the US, aren’t friendly to me overall. This is a combination sunscreen and works very well. Although my face is oily in the summer, I did find that this was a bit drying. Using a moisturizer first solved that problem immediately. My favorite sunscreen for my face has been Elma, MD Clear, which my dermatologist recommended. It works beautifully, but is expensive as all get out. I think that this sunscreen is just as effective and has a lower price point. That’s important because I go through this stuff. I use two pumps for my face and neck and blend it in. I’ll use another pump or two for my décolletage and blend it across and up. There’s no skin irritation and I haven’t noticed any stains on my clothing. It takes 5 to 10 minutes to settle, then I can apply foundation, if I’m wearing it. You’ll be able to tell if you didn’t wait long enough, because your foundation will pill otherwise. Because this formula is clear, you can reapply it throughout the day, including over SOME foundations, like extended wear. Otherwise, a powder sunscreen is best for reapplication. This line also has tinted sunscreens, in light and medium tints, which I’ve used and like. No need for foundation at all, if you enjoy light coverage, although you might need a concealer in some spots. Overall, it’s an excellent product and I’ve really enjoyed using it.
