Great for elite-style straps; relieves pressure on nose
Got this to compare against the Kiwi V3 facial interface. I like this one with their K4 (non-battery) strap. The Meta & Kiwi interfaces put more pressure on the sinuses with an elite strap, which interferes with my breathing because of a deviated septum. This one keeps the pressure more on the brow and cheekbones in my experience, which is great for me -- I moved away from the halo-style straps because they wouldn't stay secure during quick movements and exercise, forcing a choice between a firm fit and the ability to breathe. The shallower bottom edge of this interface lets me get the stability of the K4 and breathe freely at the same time. I use the ice silk cushion and love it, though it can take a few tries to get it positioned to your liking. The silicone bit at the nose for blocking light is comfortable and effective, but the downside of thin and comfy silicone is that it's also thin and fragile. Like other reviewers, I don't know how well it'll hold up to sweat and oil over time, but if it lasts me several months of use, I'd be happy to buy a replacement... if one's available. The light blocker is removable, but there's no extra included and AMVR only seems to sell the cushions. If you're in the same boat as me, wondering what combination of third-party parts will give you the best experience in 2025, I like this interface + the K4 best. I've tried other combinations with the H4 and the V3 interface and this gives me the best balance of fit and comfort. Depending on your face shape and preferences, you might want an interface with more pressure on the bottom to keep the Quest from sliding forward with a halo-style strap. Disclaimer on my personal testing: I haven't tried AMVR straps. I've been curious about the BOBOVR E3 and might try that in the future, but it'd likely still be with this interface purely for the bottom edge.

Amazing! Absolutely amazing! So much better than the stock padding, and love the cloth version!
This is IT, this is the best! TLDR: Amazing, 10/10, so many amazing features and little neat things, absolutely worthwhile, hell even if it was 70$ I'd still go for it! I have used AMVR for my quest 2 for a long time, and recently upgraded to the quest 3. The only complaint I ever had with the quest 2 version was it got a bit sweaty and stinky quickly, but the version for the quest 3 took it to a whole new level, specifically the cloth version of the padding. The stock facial interface for the quest 3 is horrible, it has no give and is more of a buffer than a cushion, and the material was terrible, itchy and painful. I give it a 3/10. Now for the AMVR interface, lots of nice things to say! I haven't tried the regular 'leather' pad yet, as I was excited to try the cloth version and immediately swapped it over. Swapping the padding out is annoying and a bit tedious to get right, but it's absolutely worth it in the end. The cloth material of the padding is so smooth and soft I absolutely must figure out what it is so I can get a set of sheets and pillow covers of the same stuff. I put on the headset and played for a bit, the padding was amazing and allowed the headset to 'stick' to my head better because I could tighten it to my head more while it still being infinitely more comfortable. The cloth is an extremely nice feature as the material lets my forehead breath and I no longer need to take off my VR to wipe literal drips off my head like a skit in a spongebob episode. The padding is immaculately soft and I need to find out what that is too so I can get a pillow made from it. As for the other features/general stuff. Installing the interface itself was a little tricky, since it didn't quite want to click in since I hadn't taken my strap off beforehand, but eventually it stuck. As for the adjustment on it, all you need to do is press the plastic inwards since it has a slot system resembling the slots on the shifter of a manual car. Because of this system the plastic feels much more stable and less wiggly, and you don't need to worry about it changing setting on it's own either which is nice. The nose gasket/light blocker is a nice touch too, the old quest 2 version's gasket would poke me in the eyes since the rubber material was too long but it's very pleasant here, and when you swing your head around usually the edges of the lenses would dig into your nose a bit, and with this it also acts as padding for your nose taking it from painful to mildly uncomfortable. Overall, amazing! Love this thing and it's so much better than stock, feels high quality and it's just perfect! My only 'gripe' is that when I took off the 'leather' padding the velcro strips on the plastic bit lifted up a little, but I pressed it back down and it stuck firmly even after fiddling with it for a long while, so probably just a 1/100 random issue.

Had an issue with it but AMVR customer service took care of quickly.
I was having an issue where the bottom left corner of the facial interface would not attach securely to my Quest 3. Instead of just returning it, I reached out to AMVR directly. I got a message back from them within 24 hrs. We had a short back and fourth over a day or so and they agreed to send me a replacement free of charge. As a pretty early adaptor, they also asked if I would keep the original one and compare it to the new one and supply them with a review and feedback directly. Happy to do so! I am still waiting on the replacement to arrive but when it does, I plan on doing a detailed review both here and with AMVR directly. Help the company develop better products, and help potential customers at the same time seems like a win/win. I left 4 stars because the issue should not have happened to being with however, I was originally going to rate this much lower. Good customer service from AMVR goes a long way with me. It will be 5 stars if all goes well with the replacement. Aside from my specific issue, the quality of the materials are very good. Love the 2 different face pad options. One very supple PU Leather and the other a micro-fiber like fabric material. While they are both somewhat firm, they are not uncomfortable. Miles better than the stock Quest 3 face pad. The overall construction of the plastic interface seems stout and durable. I do not wear glasses so my depth adjustment was the closest setting to the lenses possible. And I can confirm that it does slightly increase FOV over stock. I don't have an exact measurement but it's noticeable. The vents are a HUGE plus! I have had very, very little fogging and no noticeable light coming in from the outside. With my Reverb G2 headset that does not have vents would start fogging within 10 minutes every time. The nose light blocker thingy is soft and works. I barely notice it's there. I'll update my review when the newer model shows up.

Huge comfort upgrade for Meta Quest 3
My son received a Meta Quest 3 for Christmas and used his birthday money to buy this face cover almost immediately. He had a very similar AMVR facial interface on his Meta Quest 2 and loved it, so this was one of the first upgrades he wanted—and it did not disappoint. Installation & fit: Installation was quick and easy. It snapped right into place with no issues and fits the Quest 3 perfectly. Everything lined up well, and it feels solid and secure once installed. Comfort: The comfort difference compared to the stock face pad is noticeable right away. The padding is much softer and more comfortable, especially for longer play sessions. It sits nicely on the face without feeling too tight or putting pressure on sensitive areas. Light blocking: One of the biggest improvements is how well this blocks outside light. The original face cover lets in a fair amount of light around the nose and sides, but this one seals much better, which makes the VR experience far more immersive. Ventilation & cleanliness: It also does a good job managing heat and sweat. The material is easy to wipe clean, which is a big plus, especially after active games. It feels more hygienic than the stock pad and is clearly designed with longer sessions in mind. Overall impression: This is a fantastic upgrade and well worth the money. If you’ve owned a Quest 2 and used an upgraded facial interface before, you’ll immediately appreciate the difference here. My son absolutely loves it and says it makes his Quest 3 more comfortable and immersive than ever.

Almost perfect
The facial interface is nearly as important as the strap imo and this is exactly what I need so I can swap the pads out for doing VR workouts and cleaning it easily between uses. In fact, this has been so good and comfortable that I've not even needed a special head strap, I merely bought a cheap head pad that connect to the stock strap. With these two combined, the Quest 3 is super comfortable. As far as the face pads, the silk one feels really good on your face and has a nice quality memory foam. The leather one is also very comfortable and has the same foam density. I'm very skeptical of leather ones since they're generally cheap and end up causing me to sweat more but this one is great. I still wish they just provided a mesh pad (similar to the stock one) instead of leather but that's personal preference. The nose pad is the best light blocker I've tried yet and the ONLY one that fully blocked out light (finally). My only issues are my concerns with the pads and how long they'll last, as well as being kind of overpriced. The silk one, while nice, feels like it'll get worn out really quickly since the silk is very thin and doesn't seem incredibly well stitched. These need to be about 10 bucks cheaper imo but there's no other quality ones on the market. As of now, this is the best you'll find.

Buy it! The leather is comfy!
Love this facial interface for our Quest 3! The leather is ideal, it is easy to clean and wipe down. I like how you can still adjust the depth, I have glasses so need the extra room. The light shield works great and the extra airflow from the vents is appreciated! It helps to reduce any fogging. This is a massive easy upgrade over the stock facial interface.

A Flawed Improvement
I recently purchased the Quest 3 facepad cover, hoping to enhance my virtual reality experience. While this is a clear upgrade over the cover that comes with the Quest 3, the product fell short of my expectations. While the cover does provide some comfort during extended use, it has two significant drawbacks that impact its overall effectiveness. Firstly, the facepad cover often feels loose during use. This compromises the immersive experience and becomes a noticeable distraction. The inability to maintain a secure and snug fit diminishes the intended comfort and detracts from the overall enjoyment of extended VR sessions. The second notable issue is with the nose piece designed to keep light out. Regrettably, it proves challenging to keep in place and regularly falls off during use. This not only allows unwanted light to filter through, disrupting the virtual reality experience, but also adds frustration as constant readjustments are required. It's disappointing that a product aimed at improving the VR experience falls short in these crucial aspects. While the facepad cover does offer some comfort, the loose fit and unreliable nose piece significantly impact its functionality. I hope future iterations of this product address these issues, as they currently hinder its potential to provide a seamless and immersive virtual reality experience.

Can't fail to be impressed with this if you find the default facial interface hurts your face/head.
Default plate from new and for the first week of use was murdering my face. My wife didn't mind it, but to me, it was without doubt the most uncomfortable thing I've ever strapped to myself. Actual headache on my forehead after as little as 20 minutes. My 15-year-old daughter couldn't wear it for more than 15 minutes. In a nutshell, this fixes everything. It's how the device should have been out of the box. No light bleed. The nose pad is good. Reduced heat in the headset from the vents, which also let next to no light in. this thing caresses my face. I felt it was expensive when buying. Now i have it, I am happy I bought it. The way the foam can be swapped to cloth if you're watching a film or something is great. It's Velcro, so really easy. Not many reviewers made this clear. Don't set it on it's lowest setting as it will make you so close some people's noses touch. The middle depth setting is perfect and accommodated my glasses. I combined this with the AMVR quest strap and again. THIS is how it should have come from Meta. 100% more usable to more people. It's comfortable as hell combined with the facial interface and very light but secure. If like me, you have been looking at reviews for days, deciding which head strap will solve your comfort issues. Buy this faceplate and the AMVR headstrap. And never ever have to think about it ever again :)

Very comfortable, solves fogging during exercise
This Quest 3 faceplate is more comfortable than the default faceplate and works better for exercise than the silicon cover. The Quest 3 is better at defogging than the Quest 2, but still fogs up over an hour of intense exercise play. This faceplate solves the fog problem completely. The nose cover also blocks more light from below. If you are frustrated with the stock faceplate for exercising, buy this one. I have been using the leather trim piece for exercise.
