Very comfortable.
I really enjoyed these shoes. They are now getting to end of life. Every time I wear them I am surprised at how comfortable they are. I wore them for 2 weeks straight on a long vacation with a ton of walking. No regrets. One caution is that they do not have the deepest tread. So donโt expect them to be hikers. And obviously they are not waterproof.

Great indoor shoes - I got a lot of compliments
Allbird are overall good shoes for light use. Comfortable and cozy, since are made of wool but definitely not for outdoors. I plan to use them only indoors and at the office (lots of AC). To use them outside is not a good idea since they get dirty easily (the color also makes them look extra dirty if they caught mud or dirt)They look really cool and stylish. I got compliments at work.

Overall A Very Nice Shoe - Generous Toe Box - Upper Is Overly Tight
I picked up three pairs of All Birds shoes to try out the different fits, and Iโm glad I was able to have them all side-by-side to compare them directly. Each is very unique in its fit and personality. Here was my experience with each:Tree Runner - https://amzn.to/4e3PFy6Where the OG Wool runners have a fair break-in period, these tree runners are a completely different concept with generous stretch out of the box. Realistically these will fit roughly the same from day one as year one, although the insoles will settle a little bit. The look seems very versatile and may fill in well for the OG wool runners as a slightly different look while still offering that balance between dress and casual. These are pretty great, though once-more, the upper band is tight on my foot and I think this pairs best with moderate to low volume feet.Wool Runner - https://amzn.to/4vAIoNuThis OG shoe sure is attractive. The initial feel is plush, sweater-like and overall quite comfortable with a semi-flat insole. The stitching at the midfoot (base of laces) is a bit tight though after a week's use, they are starting to stretch a bit. This isnโt comfortable per-se but it is acceptable. Another mild issue is the tongue which seems to curl on the sides and can create some discomfort to the sides of your upper foot. The attractive stitched eyelets also work against the comfort adding more unwanted volume. Positive aspects are the general feel (everything but the mid upper portion), beautiful look and balance for dress and casual use. This does run a bit hot, so be prepared for that. As a whole, this shoe works well for moderate to low volume feet, and does accommodate moderate width with its generous toe box.Wool Runner Go - https://amzn.to/4vwOTAWThis โGOโ variant is supposed to offer a greater volume but many (including myself) find it actually offers significantly less, specifically the upper is way too tight over the mid foot. The width and length is ample, super comfortable in that aspect. The arch is also more supportive and very comfortable. However, as a result of the higher arch, it pushes up your foot amplifying the tight upper problem. This might be a good option for people with more petite feet. Didnโt work for me at all. Itโs quite strange since it is apparently designed to offer more room over the OG runners, but it does the opposite.Hope that helps in your comparative search!

very nice shoes
These shoes are comfortable, they hold up well, and the price seemed reasonable. I know there are a lot more competitors in this category now, but I have stuck with Allbirds.

Love the Look - Listen to Wide-Footed Comments
Love the shoes. The wool is not hot like I was afraid of. I have rather large, wide feet. I normally wear an 11 and these were a little tight the first couple of wears. But I think I have stretched them a little, so it's not uncomfortable. It was the top of my foot that was the most uncomfortable. These shoes have more structure than you would assume a "wool shoe" would. The only other thing to watch out for is dog hair - we have two dogs and I have had to lint roll my shoes multiple times. I do not have that problem with most other shoes.

machine washable? Game-changer!
I just had to share my thoughts on the Allbirds Men's Wool Runners because they've seriously changed the sneaker game for me. First off, let's talk about comfort โ it's like walking on clouds. I've never felt anything quite like the softness of the New Zealand Merino wool they use. It's breathable too, so no sweaty feet even after a long day. Now, I'm all about sustainability, and these kicks totally get it right. The fact that they're made from eco-friendly materials and the whole manufacturing process is carbon-neutral just makes me feel good about rocking them. Plus, the minimalist design is right up my alley โ simple, versatile, and stylish.Oh, did I mention they're machine washable? Game-changer. No more stressing about keeping them pristine.Whether I'm hitting the pavement for a run or just strolling around town, these Wool Runners have become my go-to. Highly recommend giving your feet the treat they deserve!

New version is incredibly uncomfortable
If you bought a pair of wool runners before, prepare to be sorely disappointed. The cut and insoles on these have been changed and it is now one of the worst shoes I've ever worn. The old insoles were plush and comfortable, but these now use a much harder rubber and are way flatter, so it feels truly awful. It's less comfortable than walking barefoot on concrete somehow. There is zero arch support. And the outsole remains the same, so based on previous pairs it will wear out quickly and it will be slippery in a drizzle. The downsides used to be worth it for how comfortable these shoes were, but not anymore. Hopefully allbirds will return to the better insoles.

Poor tongue design
These shoes are lightweight and flexible. The outer fabric is nice and breathable. And it seems like it wouldn't have enough grip due to the tread pattern but I have not had an issue walking indoors on tile. The disappointment is the way the tongue is stitched together. It has rough edges that are overlapped and you need to adjust them to get it to feel comfortable. I would have given it five stars but the way it's designed it hurts the top of my feet during long periods of using them. I run a size 10 so I ordered that and they fit just fine. I also feel that these are expensive for the type of product it is. I assume you're just paying for the name. There are better products on the market. The style is okay, they seem to resemble older shoes.

Quality ok but size is not.
I bought 3 shoes with the same size , but this item is too tight.

Allbirds are not for all
They don't make half sizes which essentially eliminates half the customers who want to buy their shoes. I wear 11.5 and as suggested I ordered a 12. Too big and too wide. They look ok but I was expecting a little nicer for the price point. Will be returning and not reordering.
