Works better than expected.
Works good so far. I wanted lead free for health concerns, and didn't expect it to flow this well. Its nice and thin for small things, sticks quite well to PCB boards, flows good making it easy to use, and for the price, I'm amazed it actually contains silver.

This solder flows well
The solder is the right dimension for soldering point to point wiring in audio applications. It does bind well to the metal to be soldered. It melts a little cooler than the older solder I used to use that contains lead. Overall works well and is much safer.

Worked great...it's solder
It's solder. I've little more to add. Was happy with how it performed without lead.

Good solder.
Flows well. I don't know what else to say about this, other than it works like it's supposed to.

Good to have a handy supply on hand
I do a lot of DIY stuff and never know when I'll be needing to solder something. Just recently in wiring a fixture I had to solder the joining of some wires together and found I was almost out of solder. That prompted me not to be caught empty handed next time so searched for solder on Vine to came up with this ample supply that was available. A lot of solder is available on this spool so I feel well prepared for the future.

Thin solder wire for precision work
Some soldering jobs, where components are small and closely spaced, require only small amounts of solder. This solder wire is just 0.6mm (0.02") in diameter, making it suitable for such work. It has a 2.5% rosin flux core, and a 419 degree F. melting point (which is about 60 degrees higher than the old tin/lead solder alloys). It's made of 99% tin, 0.3% silver, and 0.7% copper, so it's lead-free--but the manufacturer still suggests that you avoid breathing the fumes, and "don't eat during soldering."

No complaints.
Works as it should. Wish I had gotten a smaller diameter, but this appears to be perfectly serviceable solder at a decent price. I've used rosin core that had better initial wetting than this, but it was several times the price, so I have no complaints.
