Krusell Hector Large Premium Leather Universal Case with Beltloops and Multidapt Spring Clip for iPhone 4 / 4S and other SmartPhones with up to 3.7-inch Screen - Black

I have only used my case a few days, so I can only offer initial impressions; however, those are quite positive. The fit, finish and construction of this case appear to be excellent. I chose the 3XL size, and the only color listed on Amazon (black). My iPhone 5 is encased in a plastic protective case I bought at the AT&T store, the brand name of which is "Speck". This case adds about 1/4' to the total width, 1/4" to the total height and perhaps 1/8" to the depth of my phone. In this plastic case, my phone fits snugly enough in this 3XL Krusell case so to prevent it from sliding around inside as I move about. I find it is no trouble to insert the phone into the case, and with only a few practice tries I am easily able to do so with one hand. I can quickly extract the phone with one hand by lifting the flap with my thumb, inserting my middle finger in the opening in the bottom of the case, pushing the phone up about 1/2" above the top of the case opening and then, grasping and removing it. The finish is a handsome, muted "satin" black and flawless... no imperfections in the dye, no mars or scars. I do not see any vinyl components, only leather. I note that each of the two belt loops is double stitched where the bottom of the loop strap attaches to the body of the case. Speaking of stitching, the outside edges of the case are beautifully stitched in an attractive and intricate pattern using white thread. I am not sure what the inside of the case is made of, but it is soft without appearing to be fragile. I think that lining will last a long time, but never mar or abrade my phone provided I keep dirt and sand out of the case. There is no belt "clip", which is my preference. The access flap is held shut by a single magnet. Had I had designed this case, my personal preference would have been for a slightly stronger magnet - BUT - the provided magnet is certainly adequate, to be sure. I have no hesitation in recommending this case for an iPhone 5 in the size 3XL unless you have a protective plastic housing much larger that the one on my phone. I definitely suggest you measure your phone (in its protective housing, if any) very carefully and match the measurements to the dimensions listed in the Amazon specifications for each size. Remember, leather will stretch slightly in time to have a bit of "give" if your phone initially fits a little more snugly than you might prefer. USPS delivery was faster than I expected. Finally, for the quality and workmanship I see, I believe the price is quite reasonable. Happy shopping!!

This holster is classy and well finished. I've just got it today. My main concern was, will it fit my case for my iPhone 5? I recently got a Ballistic Every1 Case for iPhone 5, but the belt clip was too bulky and dug into me. And of greater concern was I didn't have confidence that it would grab my iPhone securely every time when I put it in (due to my fumbling, sure). And getting it out was also not swift enough. So I was looking for a new solution. This Krussel Hector 3XL holster case does allow the Ballistic Every1 (without its belt clip) to go in, but the rubber sides and edges of it grabbed onto the leather lining of the holster. With wear - stretching and smoothing of the suede-like leather - they may work better together in the future, but for now it's too difficult getting it out of the holster - A non-starter. The Otterbox Commuter case for iPhone 5, on the other hand, has less rubber and more hard plastic on the edges, and thus slides in more easily. It's still a glove fit but do-able for now and probably will be good in a week's time. I'm going to go with this combination. btw The Otterbox Commuter case measures 130mm (add 1mm for Sleep/Wake button) 67mm (add 1mm for Volume buttons) 14mm. (The Every1, 132 x 67 x 15mm.) And probably a deal breaker for many, there is no room at all for hooking up a headphone or other cables while in the holster - One star off for this. The magnetic catch is relatively weak, but I'm expecting it doesn't really need to be. One of the main advantages of this holster is the lack of a belt clip; with these 2 belt loops (50mm, 2") it is nice and slim on the hip. Overall, do not be put off by the 3XL size label; instead, it gives the impression of a neat, easy-wearing accessory, sleek, clean, and formal. As befitting Apple and Swedish styles.

Very nice pouch. Has one issue though: it is too tight as it has no option to expand (there is no elastic material that connects the front to the back of the pouch). Everything is made of nice leather. I bought the 4 XL version that looked OK for Nexus 5, and it is OK but only if you keep the phone case ...out. The naked Nexus 5 fits perfectly but if you want the phone with a phone case for protection, it won't fit at all (I use an Acare case which is relatively thin).

I've had many Krusell phone pouches before and waited till this was available to fit my S4 expecting to have a high quality, well fitting, easy to store and remove my phone while wearing it. Wrong. The lack of a belt clip and the wide spacing on the belt loops pull the ends so that it arcs the case making the fit in the phone exceptionally tight and very hard to one hand remove the phone. Plus, the stiching on one of the loops pulled loose making this totally useless. Even if the loop didn't come loose, they are so far apart that the case can't slide far enough for easy access to a front pocket on jeans. Krusell need to stop going cheap and go back to quality and function. Go back to the center clip.

Ayant déjà ce modèle pour iPhone 4, j'ai repris le même pour mon iPhone 5S : seule les dimensions changent, pas la qualité. (+) vrai cuir épais et doublé à l'intérieur (+) pochette à rabat aimantée (+) deux passant de ceinture bien large (j'y passe sans problème une ceinture de 4 cm) (+) on ne risque pas de le perdre (en courant, en descendant d'une voiture, …) = avantage des passants de ceintures sans clip (+) très design et efficace pour ne pas à mettre son iPhone dans ses poches de pantalon (–) n'est adapté qu'à des Iphone nu ou ayant un "bumper" de faible épaisseur (–) n'est peut-être pas adapté à des accros du coup de fil, sms et autre réseaux sociaux qui obligent très fréquemment à sortir son téléphone

Item does well. It's my second the first was a different model and after three years it was becoming unglued but still looked fine on the exterior. This model holds my iPhone SE with the Apple leather cover which will not fit in the model designed for the iPhone 5/5s/SE which will only accept a bare phone.

Very pleased with this pouch. This 3XL size states that it fits the Samsung Galaxy S4 but I have the Galaxy SII,fitted with the Krusell Gaia case, see my separate review of this, but the combination works really well. When I am out and about I slip the phone into the pouch and it fits very snugly and is relatively easy to pop the phone out of the pouch to answer a call. I always buy Krusell cases, they are so well made, this one is made from premium leather and the Magnet closure works well if a little light in it's action. The phone does not seem to be hunting for a signal when it is in the pouch unlike other cases which have too much metal in them, causing the phone to work harder to maintain signal and then run the battery down. Obviously you need to wear a belt to be able to use the pouch but this product is highly recommended and frees up a pocket for other things. You need to take care to get the right size for your phone.

Pour moi, c'est ce qui se fait de mieux en matière d'étui pour ceinture. Très belle fabrication (Suisse), très belle finition, c'est du costaud ! Idéale pour les écran de 4.7 à 5.1 pouces. Je recommande fortement ce produit !
