Swapped these into my Mitsubishi Pajero (yep, not exactly a common ride in the U.S.) to replace the factory Bosch fog lights. Install was super easy—if you use the included switch, all you have to do is hook up positive and negative. That’s it. If you’re running your own switch like I did, just know: blue is positive, black is ground, and red is for the switch illumination. Note the included inline fuse is 30 amps, but I could not find any rating for the lights themselves. Build quality of the lights seems solid, the front of the housing is plastic with a beefy aluminum rear. Now, let’s be clear—these are not fog lights. They throw a ton of light, and you can really see the hot spots in the beam pattern. They punch way out with a surprising amount of spread too—honestly more of a hybrid between spot and flood. Great for lighting up back roads or dark trails. But in fog? Forget it. You’ll just end up blinding yourself as the light bounces right back. Wiring harness is top notch—heavy gauge wire, well-secured terminals, prewired relay, and plenty of length to reach wherever you’re mounting them. All in all, great value, just make sure you’re using them for the right job. In the attached photos, there's a before/after collage, a pic with just headlights (low beam) and a pic with headlights and these lights with the yellow covers. As you can see, you can barely even tell the headlights are on. Historically, waterproofing and rust on brackets have been the downfall of lights in this price range. Time will tell.

I live in the outback of a developing country. Miles of dirt roads to get to town. These lights are so bright they see wayyyy down the road. See all the wild critters crossing road way up ahead of us. First night we used em, wife and I laughed all the way home. Like daytime!

They make for a great spotlight. I was worried they lights would be a big consumption of energy and truly were going to drain 320 watts like the ad says. I tested with my ammeter. 7.5 amps per light at 12volts (so 90 watts per light). Plenty bright for the actual wattage.

For a cheaper more reasonably priced pair of spotlights these things are actually pretty awesome. I bought the 9” diameter ones and installed them on my class A Motorhome to travel down the Alcan through Canada. When you’re driving down from Alaska you need some serious light on that highway. These spotlights were super bright and less wattage than their iridescent counterparts which is useful when you’re running them 12hours a night for a week straight. I mean the road lit up like daytime I could see animals in the road a kilometer ahead on straightaways. And the best part about them was their price! I will buy more of these for the rest of my vehicles.
