This is a beautiful, lightweight, gauze scarf...and it is big. A white scarf is my everyday go-to. My old trusty favorite finally was too worn for dressier shopping trips. I love this new scarf. It is white, but not a blinding white. It's perfect for me. And I ordering an extra for backup! What you should know about this gauze scarf: * It is gauze. If you don't like a lovely lightweight scarf, this isn't for you. So don't buy it and complain. * It's very lightweight and soft, yet warm. * It's a large scarf, but by the time it's wrapped/tied it's fantastic. * It has self-fringe. * It is subject to snags - so don't snag your jewelry or Velcro on it. Fix those prongs. * It's the perfect white. * Gently hand wash this scarf and don't wring it. Blot mostly dry with thick towels and then spread to air dry. * It's beautiful

This extremely thin but massively long scarf is my daily going out go to. Because it is almost big enough to use as a pareau, I can use it for shade on my head for gardening, a scarf for cold, and as a fashion statement in many, many ways. I can use it to keep the sun out of my eyes, as a woman of mystery, and in a pinch, as a mask if I wrap it around my face repeatedly. It is so lightweight, sometimes I forget I have it on. What don't I like about it? *sigh* Being such thin material with a soft weave, if I am careless, I can catch it on brambles. If I am careless and leave it on the edge of my bed, the cat's claws can go into the weave. I still use it because you can't really see any damage. If something enlarges a hole in the weave, don't be a big baby about it and freak out--just massage the fabric till it goes back into the weave like I do. Because the edges are not finished and are fringed, occasionally a thread will unweave. Big deal. I bite it off and rock on. It's like a self-repairing tire, except delicate. It fits all seasons. Scrunch it up against your neck for the winter months. You can even wrap it like a turban. These scarves are so great, I'm gonna get a couple more-->in pink to go with my rose gold jewelry, gold to go with my gold, silver to go with my sterling..., etc. These scarves open up the ability to show your imagination and fashion flair. It’s soft, lightweight but also warm. The color is amazing. Really versatile, I use it for beach cause it’s really long too, on breezy night, perfect for autumn because of its color. I would definitely recommend it.

The scarf is beautiful and very soft but also VERY fragile. When I removed it from the package the very first time, my fingernails when right through the fabric. I was able to smooth it back out (almost), and now that I know how to handle it (by the flat of my fingertips, avoiding nails), I am able to wear it without any problems. With careful handling, you may enjoy the soft, lightweight shawl.

Just what I was after. Super light and thin which makes it easy to fold it up into a small size that fits in your bag despite it being nice and large. But it is light and thin, which means the fabric is a bit fragile and you have to take care when you're stuff it into your bag or it'll snag on a zipper or pen or anything.

Arrived quickly and on time. Packaged very well. No smells or odors. The fabric is very soft and comfortable with just a bit of transparency as shown in one of the listing's photos... just lightweight enough to keep shoulders warm without being "too much" for Spring or Summer. A few notable things that are minor, they don't detract enough for it to be less than 5 stars... 1. It may snag easily... had a small snag in mine but was able to "stretch" it out. This would be expected with this type of fabric. 2. Purchased in Creamy White, it was a shade or 2 darker than expected based on their photos, but was still able to use it with my ivory wedding dress as intended. (Also purchased this in 2 other colors - Navy Blue and Dusty Blue for my bridesmaids, and the colors were spot-on perfect.)

I wanted a lightweight, white shawl for a summer meditation retreat and purchased the Iristide gauze shawl. It was definitely lightweight, but not very sturdy and easily snags, so you have to be very careful with it. I liked the generous size, and it is very soft.

Beautiful color, light weight and plenty long. Very happy with this purchase. Value for money: Great value!
