We bought these to replace the black berkey filters after they were discontinued. These require 1 cycle of water through them initially to clean them out. But then after that cycle, they produce really clean filtered, tasty water. They are great quality, and we have had no complaints!

Since I've started using a gravity water filter I have wanted to try ceramic filters instead of the black carbon filters. I jumped at the chance when this one turned up on Vine and I'm glad I did. It was only one filter, but the second I saw it and read the data report on the companies website I quickly ordered another one. Unlike the generic unknown filters out there this one is made by a reputable company that actually has it's performance data sheet available online for their water filters. The list is very impressive! I couldn't be happier with this filter. I have read that even though the manufacturer recommends replacement every six months you can clean these filters and many people get a year or more out of them before replacement. According to the tests on this filter the performance after nearly 800 gallons does not drop off much at all and the majority of the things I worry about are indeed reduced by at least 95% or higher. I think that is great performance. It even removes microplastics. I am also happy to see that it reduces arsenic by 88% and that is without attaching any additional filters. Arsenic is a problem where I live, and to be honest I do worry what the additional filters might be adding to the water just as much, so it's good to know that these filters are reducing the arsenic levels that much without any other filtration. I'm impressed with the performance and quality of these filters and I can highly recommend them.

I just invested in a berkey water system. I purchased two of these filters and the water that comes out of them is horrible. It tastes like cigarette water. There is such a strong flavor to them that I would be better off drinking water straight from the tap. These seemed to work fine for about half a week and then the water hasn't been the same. I did the initial water run, I ran 3 gallons through the filters, cleaned out the basin and refilled the water. I have since cleaned the filters at least 3x with cold water and a soft clean sponge (never used). I haven't allowed water to get into the blue spout om the filters either. I have followed the cleaning instructions exactly and everything I do, the water is fine for a day or two and then theres this nasty flavor. I dont know wlwhat else to do. But I know I am not buying these again. Purchased on Jan 3, 2026.

Got this to replace filters that aren't made anymore and they are the exact same, just a better price. They do what they are meant to. And work just fine. Maybe better. Been months and they are still going

If it does all that is say it does, Im sold! Im using two of these in a Pro One Traveler. They are large filters, and I believe the water quality to be good. My body is very sensitive to metals, and so far the taste is very clean. We live in an area of Arizona where there is salty water, and this removes the taste. The flow is very good. Im happy to find long lasting filtration that doesn't break the bank. Thank you.

It’s impossible for me to know if they are filtering as advertised, but I like them better than Berkey filters (not sold anymore). There’s no priming of these filters and they drip quickly (hope that’s good).

The two filters I got worked good with my ProOne System. I used one as a replacement and saved the other for future use. The filters are fragile so be careful when handling them, not to damage. The swap was easy, and they primed and worked like the originals. Everything’s working great now!

I did some research on these gravity filters because I wanted to make sure the water that my family is consuming is safe. These filters checked all my boxes with testing, certifications and great reviews. I received the filters and followed the instructions. I ran the water through them and dumped the container, cleaned it and refilled. I was excited to finally try some fresh filtered water and it tasted like dirt/mildew. I dumped the container, refilled and ran more water through the filters. Same taste. I got a hold of customer service and they were really amazing. I was told the washers were the problem and they had a new ones that they would send to me. I received the new washers installed them on the filters, washed my container out and refilled. Water still tasted like dirt/mold. Customer service sent out new filters when I told them the washers were not the problem. I received the filters and one filter is perfect and white. I open the second filter and it looks used and is wet (see the picture I have attached). I set the wet filter aside and went ahead and just installed the new looking filter. Ran all the water through it and dumped my container. The water still tasted like dirt/mold. I am sending these filters back and getting a refund. I just can't trust that I and my family are ingesting safe water. Then to receive a used wet filter as a replacement is just the last straw. I will say that Jamie was so amazing with her customer service and she really did try to make things right.
