This putty is excellent for working on your grip strength. It comes with four different levels of resistance: extra-soft, soft, medium and firm. Extra-soft is roughly the same level of resistance as dollar store silly putty. You can feel the difference with each level; the firm is very much a hand workout. The putty is very clean and doesn't leave residue on your hands. I use the putty every work day and spend about 10-20 minutes playing with it each day (5-10 mins in the morning; 5-10 mins in afternoon). The container includes a sheet with 12 different hand & finger exercises you can do, so you can mix it up. The extra-soft is great for warming up and getting your muscles stretched and moving before using some of the higher resistance putty.
