## Description

Coming complete with free straining bags, these presses are ideal for pressing apples to make cider (as well as other fruits for fruit juice) and are on offer at fantastic prices. Made from a steel base plate with a hardwood pressing basket, the base plate features a lip for easy juice collection and a wide stance for stability. Featuring a 'twist and extend' mechanism where the supplied blocks of wood are put in place as the handle is twisted to exert more pressure on the fruit, giving the maximum yield. Requires home assembly.

Review: Good quality macerator and press - All looks robust and of good quality. I can't give 5* though until I have used it. I couldn't get one of these for love nor money during the apple season, so I took advantage of the out of season prices and availability - this looks like pretty good value to me.
