I've used CD's that have been converted to MP3 files and the audio is excellent, so depends on where the files are downloaded from regarding the sound quality. Also there are pre-set Graphic Equalizer setting to choose from. The built in speaker is the usual quality for a tiny speaker. The micro-SD card is a bit fiddly to remove without tweezers. 64gb is ample memory for MP3 files. Recommend putting your albums into individual folders before loading onto the card. You can set to play random songs if you wish. You can use the built in recorder for voice notes etc. Would I recommend for the price? Yes!
