Pretty colors, affordable and my daughter loved it.

A nice selection of comfortable, buttery, pigmented colors. Like most NYX shadows, these have good opacity and color payoff. There's really a lot to like here. You also get a a lot of product, and a nice amount of every color. I like the wide square pans that accommodate all brush sizes. I love the warmth and golden tone of the color selections. It's an enjoyable palette, but I did have to deduct some stars for some clear imperfections. I do find that the colors, while all nice, lack maximum variety and do lose a little of their personality over the course of the day. Colors fade just enough to look more the same than the each looking unique on the eye. While I will not declare it a flaw, it should be noted that this is not a complete stand alone palette. It's mostly midtones, lacks a browbone color, and it also lack a dark color for deepening up your look. But any color it lacks is a "basic" that probably also exists in most shadow collections, which makes it instead of a stand alone palette a nice augmenting collection of character colors. But if you don't like mixing back and forth between palettes or are searching for an all in one, you may want to pause. As for value, this should be purchased on sale, not at full price. Your target price should be $14-16 (if you find it for less, it's a steal). Most NYX outlets have frequent sales and coupons, so full price for this one is not appropriate. I say that partially because I don't think this is worth $20 (bc of the fading and it not being a stand alone palette), but partially because it's really silly to not take advantage of known price cut opportunites. Packaging is typical and basic for drug store makeup. Mine arrived with damage, so protection is just average to poor. However I appreciate that there is no wasted space and the cover is clear so that you can see the colors.

I usually love NYX shadows. These colors are absolutely beautiful. The problem is that it takes so much product to give color. Once I get them on they last all day. Just wish the colors weren’t so sheer.

Waste of money. Hardly any pigmentation when applied to the eyelids. I was bummed because I love this color palette.
