Mens Solo 44mm Sport Chronograph Quartz Watch with Date Window 50m Water Resistant

I ordered this watch as a present for my Dad and he is delighted with it. The watch looks really good, he says, and he was worried about 'how much I must have spent', which I took as a compliment to the manufacturer. The watch looks exactly as in the illustrations - looks heavy, strap well made, metal work looks expensive. The timer functions all work well, there is a 24-hour clock and stopwatches for minutes and seconds, as does the date window. There are no instructions given with this watch, although there is an excellent write up on the manufacturer's display on the Amazon page. Instead, you get a small card with an internet link. This annoyed me a little, not least because, when accessing the link I was scammed by a rival firm, criminals obviously, who had a very similar url. Not the fault of Sekonda, but it means that anyone unfamiliar with the internet cannot access their own instruction. In fairness, the paperwork when downloaded is excellent, albeit too small for my father to read, which necessitated a trip to the print shop, and there is a great helpline. On balance, I love the superb British design and the clear way the paperwork is set out. The watch was on offer for £43 when I bought it but would have been good value at the full price of £90. If this watch continues to work well it will have been a lovely purchase.

Very smart, looks great

Like this watch. Very good value for the money. I would have happily paid more for it. It's a bit heavy but I like that. Shows the quality. The chronograph dials work perfectly. Just a bit difficult to read because they are small and I'm long sighted. Why only 4 stars? Because going by the condition of the box, this watch has been in a warehouse for a long time and there was no plastic tab under the battery. The watch has been running the whole time it was in storage. So I've a feeling I'm going to have to replace the battery in a year or two.

Orologio dotato di un bel quadrante color blu quasi cobalto e con lettura ottimale dell'orario. Forse il cinturino è un po' leggero.La lunetta non è girevole ma, visto il costo, è comprensibile.
