I like the porosity poly sponge like consistency , so i got them and superglued them together (see pic) to make them fit my overflow box size of 7.7" x 4.7" . A great prefilter foam to get out the bigger particles for efficient filtering with the dense foam media and carbon/chem media on the bottom .
