**Q: Is this lagging suitable for exterior use, in this case to go around a pond pump pipe that is situated above ground?**
A: Yes this can be used outside. We use it on the over flow pipe from the boiler as it stopped the boiler working when it froze up. This lagging is super flexible and did the job during the serve weather we had.

**Q: I would like to know if 42mm is the id or od?**
A: If a tube has been listed as 42mm X 13mm that's usually the ID and followed by the thickness. However manufacturers can vary on finish give or take 1mm either side.
