Clickin' with Clax

This overlooked session was finally released about 1998 on vinyl only.Having worn my original copy out - It's nice to have a CD version at long last, at a very reasonable price. Excellent tunes and arrangements by Shorty, as usual, with a Roster of Westy Coasters to enhance his music. What a wonderful performer and composer Shorty was!.

A cd issue of an Atlantic lp. An unissued session from Shorty's period with Atlantic. Maybe not his best date for the label but good solid and neat west coast jazz.
