For the price, this privacy filter is actually very good and does exactly what it’s supposed to do if you want screen privacy. There are two sides: one gives stronger privacy but has more reflection, and the other is matte (less reflection) but slightly less private. I personally chose the matte side. One thing to keep in mind is that both sides reduce brightness, so using the laptop outdoors in daylight becomes difficult. As a privacy screen, it’s a solid and affordable option. However, it doesn’t stick directly to the screen...you have to use one of the two included mounting methods. The adhesive tabs can look a bit annoying if you care about aesthetics.

Bought this to use in public. It was a PERFECT fit for my MSI Stealth 16:9 screen. It works so well, someone sitting next to me (legs touching) cannot see all the naughty things I'm doing. I would like to see less glare (even on the matte side) but the reflectiveness actually adds to the security. It's pretty simple to clean with the notch at the top so you're able to pull it away from the laptop. I will buy these for all of my laptops now.

I really wanted this privacy screen to work, but it’s been a big disappointment. The main problem is that it simply won’t stay attached to the laptop. The stickers provided don’t hold well at all, and within a short time the screen starts peeling off or falling completely. I tried reapplying multiple times, but the adhesive loses its stick quickly and becomes useless. Even when it was temporarily in place, the edges never sat flush, so it constantly looked loose and awkward. That made it distracting to use, and it also made me worry about dust getting underneath. For something that’s supposed to protect the screen and give privacy, it defeats the purpose if it can’t stay secure. It’s a shame, because the idea of extra privacy is great, but the execution here is very poor. For the price, I expected better quality and stronger adhesive. Unfortunately, this product is not worth the money. I would recommend looking for another brand with sturdier mounting options.

If I'm not looking at the screen head-on, you can't see a thing! I love it. Bought it because I do confidential work and I travel often, so this is perfect. I only don't recommend it if you do anything color-sensitive like art or photo editing, because the colors are very muted and tinted, but if you're doing anything else, this is awesome.

I got this for my DGbook laptop. It works spectacularly!! It does NOT block the view from directly behind you but it says that in multiple places between the description here and on the packaging it comes in. It does exceptionally well at blocking the views from people sitting right next to you. You can choose to use either side, gloss or matte. I used side that provides more protection since I work in a field that requires me to protect my clients PHI and I take my laptop around the office. The filter comes with two ways to attach it to your screen. You need to figure out which will work best. I used the sticky things mine came with. It looks like little pieces of tape. I really thought it wasn't going to work out at first but I've had no problems with the adhesive coming undone whatsoever. The little adhesives do show and it did bother me the first day, but now I don't even notice. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

While the dimensions are accurate and the privacy screen fit is somewhat operational (although not completely), the way you install it makes it flawed. You add sticky pieces to the screen, making it not completely flush with the screen and causing A LOT of air bubbles unable to flatten. You can also see the sticky pieces you use while you're using your laptop. It is very distracting.
