Beautifully made - its just fun to look at. (I bought the tooled dark brown example.) Some reviews mention that it was folded for shipment. Mine came in a long box and it was not folded. It arrived in perfect condition. Impressive tooling and leather work, its better than the picture and would cost multiples of the Amazon price if you were to have it made by a leather shop. I wouldn't put my Henry in any other scabbard!Exasperating cons - I wish it was four inches longer, they should make an identical version that is longer. Its too short to be called a case. The leather handle - The handle is in the wrong place and makes it impossible to use. The photograph in the listing shows someone carrying an empty case by the handle. Put a rifle in the case and it 'balances' downward and toward the open end causing the weapon to slide out. Such a simple fix, to move the handle three or four inches towards the open end of the scabbard! As is, the handle is useless for carrying your rifle. I managed to use the long strap that is provided to create a handle for carrying, but it is make-shift at best. The best way to carry this particular scabbard is over the shoulder. It does appear to be perfectly made for a saddle.Bottom line - Impressive leather and tooling, perfect for that Western look. This one is a keeper!

I think that you get what you pay for. This was not exactly what I wanted, but it is a beautiful piece of leather work handcrafted and a beautiful padded lining chainsaw that my 1873 lever action stays in immaculate condition whilst scurried in it.

The quality materials and artistry exceeded my expectations. I will be purchasing more products in the future for sure. Hulara thank you for keeping your products on point.
