Logitech Combo Touch Detachable Keyboard Case for iPad (10th gen) - Oxford Grey

I was hesitant to order this as I have had issues in the past with ordering used products from Amazon, but I am pleasantly satisfied with my purchase of this product. First, please keep in mind that this is listed as a “Renewed” product. However, contrary to other reviews I have seen posted under this listing, the product I received was essentially brand new with the exception of a mildly damaged box. The case itself—separate from the keyboard portion—still had its tamper tape intact. No evidence of use or wear was present. Secondly, to help out anyone who is questioning this product’s compatibility, this product is for the iPad 10th generation only. Your iPad Air will not fit in it. I went with this option over Apple’s Magic Keyboard Folio because of its price, and the fact that the keyboard keys are BACKLIT, a feature missing from the Magic Keyboard. Apple’s egregious pricing of the Magic Keyboard—in true Apple fashion—is ridiculous, this is a more than acceptable substitute. The keys are responsive, though slightly crammed. There is nothing that can be done about this though, given the size of the iPad itself. The case feels sturdy, though getting the iPad into it required a bit of force and I do not look forward to removing it very often as I have read other reviews remarking the tendency for the rubber “lip” which surrounds the screen becoming worn or loose. The trackpad is as nice as one can expect it to be for a tablet. It does seem to lag at times, though with the iPad 10th gen’s 4GB of RAM I doubt even the Magic Keyboard Folio would fare any better. Pressing down on the trackpad to select requires a bit more force than I would like, but I suspect this minor issue will resolve itself with use. TIP: Enable tap to click functionality by going to iPad Settings > General > Trackpad > Toggle “Tap to Click”. This will allow you to just tap the trackpad instead of having to press down on it. The magnet which connects the keyboard to the iPad’s accessory input is strong and connects with ease. The kickstand on the back of the case is quite nice and allows you to adjust the angle for viewing and use. Overall, I’m quite happy with this purchase and hope this review helps to inform your purchasing decisions!

The Logitech Combo Touch case is an excellent - and affordable - alternative to Apple's own Magic Keyboard case for the iPad 11". The key action is solid and light, the backlighting is awesome, the trackpad just plain works, and the easy on/easy off magnetic attachment system for the keyboard is stellar. Additionally, it's a plus to not have to charge the keyboard as it gets power from the magnetic connector. The thing is: it'll still be a top-heavy setup if you plan on using an iPad as a laptop replacement. It's tougher to use on a lap than a bottom-heavy laptop, as the iPad is much heavier than a laptop screen. Thus, it's tougher to treat the setup as a laptop if using it on your lap. On a table? No problem - just be sure to pick up this combo by the iPad and not by the keyboard, as it'll usually send the iPad plummeting to the ground. On that level, the case part of the Combo Touch is very robust and protects the iPad rather well. The fabric-like finish is also classy and robust. And the holster for a Pencil or similar stylus is well placed. Note that I bought a refreshed model from Amazon and it showed zero signs of use or wear,

Didn’t think I would ever need a keyboard for my iPad of all things. But it does come in handy. An Apple employee suggested this keyboard and case to me, but said look on Amazon before spending my money at the Apple store, even with my teacher discount. And I’m glad I did because I got it for a better price (always a win there!). I love the features and that it is almost completely compatible with anything you need to do to control the iPad from a click of a button. It has the Globe button at the bottom right which tells you some shortcuts. It even has the button to get to the home screen right away. I also love the track pad, I really never thought I would need that part. The part that I cannot stop raving about is that the keyboard does not need to be charged separately and that you can take only the keyboard off whenever you want and leave the case on there. Totally worth the money.

First, this is mostly my fault, I did not see that this is a USED product. It came in a paper wrap inside a shipping box, that's it. No instructions, nothing to give me an idea on how to connect this keyboard to my iPad. After I placed the iPad into the case, I see that the keyboard has this weird magnetic strip, I thought it was broken at first, but I guess you just remove them? If you don't, the keyboard won't attach. The actual magnetic part won't go into the slot pretty much. So, I fixed that and was able to get it to connect the cover to the keyboard, but it won't stay! It just keeps popping out, does not want to function properly. And now, I don't even know how to get it connected to the iPad so that I can use the mouse and keyboard. This is beyond frustrating and if a resolution isn't made soon, I will be returning. NOT worth $100+ for a USED case that doesn't even work.

El teclado para iPad es funcional, se siente muy cómodo para trabajar. El trackpad es rápido y preciso, y las teclas muy cómodas. Sin embargo, el protector de iPad es un poco pesado y no permite que puedas cambiar la funda. Si retiras la funda del iPad y deseas poner otra no podrás trabajar con el teclado ya que al parecer la funda con el que viene integra imanes para alinearse con el teclado. Es decir, el teclado es funcional siempre y cuando tengas la funda puesta. De lo contrario no se ajustará al iPad por el tema de los imanes.

The first one I received had a button that didn’t work. They sent a new one and I’ve been using it for 6 months now with no issues.

I love this keyboard. I use it with my IPad 10th gen. The trackpad is ok could have slightly better tracking, but there are settings on your ipad that you can fiddle with to optimize it. Otherwise, its plug and play. The case is super snug which is amazing but made putting my ipad in the case a little hard. The keys are backlit! Its cheaper than the official apple version! Love the texture! Love the strength of the magnet! strong enough to stay firmly attached, yet easy enough to remove it one handed.

Por lo pronto todo se ve muy bien! El material es grueso y se siente protegido el ipad, cubre todas las esquinas. El iman que conecta y desconecta el teclado funciona muy bien y puedes empezar a escribir sin configurar nada. Me acaba de llegar pero si tengo problemas actualizaré el comentario.

Logitech makes very good products. I really like this keyboard and I love the fact that I can take it off when I just wanna use my iPad without it and it’s a very protective case. The keys are very nice and light up and the trackpad works very good. It connected immediately when I put my iPad in it.
