Bought for outdoor lighting connection. Solid waterproof junction box. Looks good, plenty of space inside for 3 way twin and earth cable connection. It's sturdy and safe for outdoors.

Great little box I've used many before these and would by again.

Easy to fit, ample room inside for cables, connecting blocks supplied are great.

I bought this pack of IP66 outdoor junction boxes for an external wiring job, but they’ve been very disappointing. The plastic feels thin and brittle, and the lids don’t seal properly. Even when tightened carefully, the gasket doesn’t sit flush, which makes the waterproof rating very questionable. After light rain, I found moisture inside one of the boxes, which is completely unacceptable for outdoor use. The screw holes also feel poorly moulded, and the screws are easy to strip. The size is fine, but that’s about the only positive. For something advertised as IP66, I expected far better protection and build quality. Not worth the money and I wouldn’t trust these outdoors.

Very much approve of these. Robust material and construction, noticeably superior quality of rubber gasket sealing, and you can attach to the wall without interfering with the box in any way. Quite pricey, but you get what you pay for here - could use more of that really...
