They work very well. I am not set up to sharpen steel tools. This negates that problem. They are also durable. I have approximately 12 hours of use and they are still cutting well.

I am very pleased with this purchase. The tools come in a wood case and are of good quality. The rubber handles have a pleasing, squishy feel. The aluminum collar at the end is a nice touch. Of particular note is that the hardwood handles come unfinished. I believe most woodworkers will appreciate this because it allows you to apply your own stain and finish. I stained mine a pecan color. The only criticism I can find is that the grind of the steel is a little coarse compared to higher end lathe tools. Incredible value at this price.

They are well built & easy to use with the longer handles & rubberized grips. These were my first carbide tip turning tools & the are much better than my older steel tools. I also ordered replacement tips so I would have them on hand as needed. I was a little disappointed that one of the tools had a small crack in the handle but I chose to fix it rather than go through the replacement process. I like the way they cut.

Excellent set of carbide cutter tools. Sharp blades, comfortable handle with plastic grip, shank is standard but very strong. Packaged in wood box for easy storage and prevent damage during shipping.

Not able to find any warranty information; that is a down-side. When the partially rounded square carbide bit was checked for tightness it split in half. The handle rings were falling off of several chisels and had to be glued back on.

Possiedo già utendili tradizionali per la tornitura del legno che uso la dove vivo. Essendomi spistato per le vacanze ho acquistato questi utensili con ounta intercambiabile de metallo duro, pe evitare di dover acquistare una nuova molatrice (ad acqua e Pietra giapoponese) che mi sarebbe coststa oltre i 500€. Ci sono cose che si possono fare meglio o più velocemente con gli sgorbie da taglio tradizionali (sgrossatura, incisioni profonde e taglio, ecc).

These carbides are a revellation! No need to hone them before you use them, they are well engineered and feel substantial in the hand. I cant fault them, lovelly turned beech wood handles, will last a lifetime. 10/10
