Age old quality
I have bought this brand in the Netherlands in the late 80s and as far as I am concerned the quality has persisted over the decades. Quite spicy but not tongue-numbing. A caveat: stepmother is Mexican so I am used to spice.

The only true Sambal Oelek
A bit pricey but this is the only authentic Sambal Oelek of the correct strength. Other brands seem much milder, and are therefore used up more quickly. One teaspoon of this is enough to flavour a portion of Nasi Goreng for two people.
